I'm not surprised His play has slipped a lot. He has been getting burned lately. I didn't think he would make it out of training camp.

Marcus Williams was on the bubble in preseason, a couple trades and some injuries forced them to keep him but now that the secondary is playing top notch coverage they are willing to give reps to Rookie Derrick Jones making Williams expendable...

Not to mention the play out of Darryl Roberts and Juston Burris whom are earning more and more reps there isn't enough to go around...

Curious about Derrick Jones' progress. I think the kid has very good project-able ability, but clearly a work in progress. Maybe they are seeing something during the week that he is ready to play with the big boys. If so, I hope they are right because he has the kind of length, athleticism and play-making skills that we need to match up against the bigger wide-outs. Making your debut against Brady though is an awful lot to ask.
