I like Samaje Perine he's a true freshman who has a lot of potential to be great over next couple years. Oklahoma has produced some great running backs such as Adrian Peterson and Demarco Murray. Another young running back to look out for is Nick Chubb from Georgia who has been impressive after Todd Gurley's suspension. Chubb has been putting up some impressive numbers and also can be a great future running back to look for. I like Gordon, although some scouts compare him to McCoy, he reminds me more of Jamaal Charles with his speed.

I think we can take a 4th or 5th round rb .........ivory can be a everydown back if we get a coaching staff that will stick with him but him and bial are good.

I think gordon is the real deal. Completely agree that Chubb looks like he is going to be something special. I would still take a flier on Gurley. I think he can be really special even with the ACL injury. He will not be a 1st rounder but he is dynamic in the fact that he can catch the ball out of the backfield. Something the Jets haven't had in a long time minus the percy trade but thats more to the flats. Let's face it CJ2k is not an impact player anymore and frankly I personally don't like all my eggs in the ivory basket. I will say that most of the teams that are in the playoffs have an upper echelon RB on their roster. There is still a point that having a good RB does make a difference in setting up the passing game. Also, keep on eye on the two RBs at Rutgers Hicks and Martin.

I'm hoping the Jets bring back Powell great reliable running back. I kind of like TJ Yeldon and Ameer Abdullah as well.
