They already lost to Brett Rypien. They lose this game and then the 3 game win streak means nothing.
I hate this game… shit just isn’t lining up right for this one. First the whole Moore thing, and now Russ not playing. Russ sucked…..his backup can probably only be better …..
this is probably the turning point in the season.. we get to 5-2 & all bets are off playing NE at home week 8..
This sounds like years of torment as a Jets fan. We’re always waiting for the other shoe to drop, aren’t we?
I usually feel the same way. Not having EM is not a big deal. He has one catch in the last two games. I think this team will rally and prison pound the Broncos. Actually if you hate anything, you should probably be more worried that I think the Jets are going to beat the brakes off the Broncos.
No I view this as a test. A test of the coaching staff. If they can keep these guys focused with all these distractions then I will be impressed. Let's face it, in the past this is a game and a situation off the field that would derail the Season. If Saleh and the staff can have this team ready to play AND win this game it will be a major turning point for this Organization from top to bottom. No more Same Ole Jets.
I’m with you on this. Jets need to show that the teams they are supposed to beat, no matter what the circumstances are, they do it and do it convincingly. If they squeak by with a win it will be talked about and if they lose…

I actually feel pretty good about the team as a whole. I have my concerns, but I like the direction the team is going. I remember the 90's Cowboys and this team is starting to remind me of them a little. We have our #1 WR, RB and hopefully QB. We have a good defense with a running game. Let's hope I'm not disappointed again. I just think this team has way too much young talent that can overcome the loss of EM. It would be awesome if Mims realized some of his potential and could make an impact.
We went into Pittsburgh and Green Bay and won. Can we go to Mile High and make it a hat trick? That would be impressive, regardless of the state of those teams right now. Those are tough places to win on the road.

Teams don't change their philosophy. Ryp hasn't played or practiced with the first until this week. Tendencies may be modified based on what he prefers. Might even be simplified. Look for some type of gadget play on short yardage or early downs near midfield. They'll lean more on their defense to keep things close. Turnovers and tipped passes are critical. Loss to this team two years straight. Time to bust their broncos!
How soon we forget. Only a few weeks ago we were wondering if we could exceed a four win season. IF we lose this NFL game (where anything can happen on a given Sunday), redemption can rapidly be obtained by beating the Patsies.
On paper this looks like a win for the Jets, but we know better than that. Oh, we know better than that! We’re Jets fans!
Any given Sunday is right. How many times do we see what’s supposed to happen….not happen. Denver has players snapping on the chin strap ready to kick some ass today, too. That defense isn’t laying down for anyone. I expect a dogfight just like every week.
