IMO, he has one more game to turn it around. The next stinker should be his last.

what else do you expect him to say???

you paid me my money and I will do me no matter how I look under center...

Ofcourse he should say it and I don't blame him for doing so. Matter of fact, I would expect him for saying it and wouldn't respect him if he didn't. He's not Jay Cutler, he's not that bad, LOL! I just don't believe he can or should I say, I don't believe his fight is worth looking forward to.

In fact, let me retract that Cutler statement because knowing the Jets, that will be the next QB they trade for or pick up in FA to start. Rather then drafting or trading for a young real future franchise QB.

6 INT's does not even come close to illustrating how bad Fitz was out there today.

Usually when a QB throws that many INT's, at least two or three of them were not entirely his fault, maybe a tipped ball, a pass that should have been caught, miscommunication, WR ran the wrong route, the WR didn't even try to fight for the ball or bat it down, and any number of reasons that are outside of the QB's control.

BUT TODAY, those 6 INT's easily could (should) have been 8, 9, 10 or more!

There were at least two or three that were outright dropped by the DB's, otherwise this easily could have been a historically bad performance, especially with the way Bowles kept running him out there. Bowles gave Fitz every opportunity to set all-time records for INT's and futility, and if the DB's had better mitts, he easily would have.

He had his best game as a pro directly followed by his worst game as a pro. Net mean being he is AVERAGE. That is exactly what we knew about him anyway. So nothing has really changed.

He is an average QB on an average team that will probably about 5 or 6 games this season due to how hard our schedule is........

Thank you.... geno will be as bad and will eventually lead to Bryce. If we are going to lose I rather lose with someone who at least has potential to be a good NFL QB...

Agreed! I'd rather go 4-12 or 0-16 to see if Petty or Hack is our guy. Obviously with this team, if either are worth anything then the team should win atleast 8 games anyway this year.

Here's what I expect to see...Fitz on the move with his legs like he played last year. I expect him to get his share of first downs running, and getting the O moving with some inspired play. IMO, I saw him trying to do too much with his arm, and not taking what was there.

I am not making excuses for him, but when he was throwing to #15, I was wondering if #15 (bc of the knee) wasn't able to make plays on the ball that he normally makes by taking it away from the DB.

At any rate, I am not jumping ship on Fitz. I think he'll be back with a vengeance, and force D's to defend him as a potential weapon, and we'll see our receivers running free again...if not, we'll see him run more.

Last thing, if he takes it upon himself to pick up yardage on the move, we'll see him putting less pressure on himself to more than he is a QB, and be every bit as good as a dealer of the ball he was last year.

Fitz can play, and he can lead. I am betting on seeing that this weekend.

Fitz fighting>? What? Against yourself & Gailey making a mess?I wondered when the OLD Gailey /Fitz would happen and it did last week against KC & the Coach who played against Gailey's old schemes before. Just like old times for Gailey & Fitz last week & both their play calling & QB plays brought back memories & why it didnt work then. I wonder now that KC has shown how to beat our 90's Bills Offensive play calling & if it will work any more? Fitz has troubles dropping passes over defenders & likes a more direct passing as we seen last week. I'm very sick of that game & now I hope JETS can move on to beat Seattle. But I just dont like Gailey's old style offense & Fitz up & down games of INT's .

unlike last year where the receivers bailed him out on a lot of bad throws he made this year both were hindered by injuries entering Chiefs game and neither were willing to put their bodies on the line to go get those errant throws... we all saw Brandon Marshall pull up and not go get a couple of those passes that turned into turnovers...

both Decker and Jalin Marshall were put into some bad spots in that game that they left with more serious injuries then they started the game with...

Fitz needs to stop trying to only target Decker and Brandon Marshall, while incorporating everyone else which then will allow those two or either one that is available next game to get that separation to make big plays... But if they are the only targets and everyone else is continued to be an after thought expect another KC Chiefs debacle moving forward...
