Agreed. BOTH should be gone THIS Season along with the AR experiment, but they will get a pass because AR was hurt. Remember the old song with this line?
"Another year older and deeper in debt."
Describes AR and the Jets situation quite well.
Let's be honest here, no GM and HC has drafted the right QB for decades now. Not since Joe Namath anyway! I can't remember who drafted Chad Pennington, but can we even say they made the right draft pick there as well? I mean he would have been a great QB for us if he could have stayed healthy but that's the problem, he couldn't stay healthy. Besides Pennington, are we going to say that Ken O'Brien or Richard Todd were excellent QB draft picks, I don't think so. They were average QBs at best.
Maybe there is some type of curse and bad luck cloud over this organization because no one can seem to get it right! We have had a few decent free agent QB signings or trades. Testaverde, Farve, and now maybe Rodgers. I would say Testaverde was the best because we got the most out of him for his time here. If I'm missing anybody here, please let me know because this is about all I got. My point being is no one can ever seem to get it right, so what should make us think that Saleh and Joe D would be any different.

That was Parcells, the last GM we had who knew what he was doing!!!! He had 4 first rounders that draft, he took Abraham/Ellis/Pennington/Becht, pretty damn good haul!
I'd be surprised. We believe Douglas is responsible for not fixing the O line and Woody is involved in stacking the staff with Rodgers' cronies. Hard to see what Saleh can do about the O line, or having Lazard as WR#2. Lest it be forgotten, Douglas's plan was to start with Brown at LT and Becton at RT, both players coming off major injury absences who weren't that good before they got injured. Tomlinson has turned out to be at least an indifferent decision at LG, he has certainly not played up to his contract. So what Douglas actually DID last year was to draft Tippmann (fair enough) and Warren (already injured) in the later rounds. The backups were Mitchell, who was coming off a long absence with blood clots, and Billy Turnstile, a washed up veteran. Then came the not totally unpredictable rash of injuries to this group and the continuous rotation of players which has made cohesion impossible.
there is only one player lost, that is Allan Lazard who signed a big contract and has yet to show up. Now he is bickering like his word means anything. They better eat his contract and trade his big mouth lazy football ass off this team. It only takes one player to find another and it spreads like wild fire. His contract technically has huge dead loss in the first two seasons, so they have to suck it up and move his ridiculous non playing ass out of here and tell Rodgers to either play or retire do not dictate which fucked up unable to do shit but collect a pay check players he vouches for like Billy turnstile Turner another Rodgers guy.
Do not re-sign Dalvin Cook who has clearly lost five steps not just one. The Jets were going to cut ties with CJ Uzomah this past off season one team wanted to trade a comp third day pick for the veteran tight end, doh JD should of jumped on that trade. But Aaron Rodgers went bat for the aged out tight end and we kept him, how did that turn out.
Adrian Amos another player that Rodgers went to bat for and he is no longer here, wonder why?

Except for Tippman and AVT, if he can come back in shape and healthy, I thought he looked a little soft/sloppy in TC. A new oline needs to come in. Not sure about Tomlinson and his contract but he should be replaced too.

I figured it was Parcells but I wasn’t 100% sure. I thought it might have been Herman Edwards also. However; Pennington would have been a beast for us if he could have stayed healthy. That’s IF but he couldn’t, so it’s not technically Parcells fault I know but it is what it is!
I don't believe our problem is with Saleh. I believe it is with JD and Hackett.
Joe has an unheard of 6 year contract. He can RnR it for awhile. They should keep Joe and hire a guy for OL drafting only.
Saleh is a good guy. Hope he remains and improves in his assessments. I attended a practice and said I looked good.
