Wow.

I could be wrong.

But when Saleh discussed the difference between players who love playing Football (Braxton Berrios) and players who just love what Football brings them?

I feel that was a head shot towards Denzel Mims (and maybe some others) in regards to not loving ball but loving what Football brings them.

And then immediately asked, which players back would you have?

Am I the only one who felt like this while watching the interview?

I had the same thought, and then I flashed back to the team awards where Elijah Moore won the 'Rookie that Acts Like a Pro" this year. Surprisingly, Mims won it last year which doesn't necessarily align with the immature narrative. So maybe it is all of the injury and health related setbacks that he has had, coupled with his apparent difficulty in mastering the route tree.

Could be he was just hinting that this guy who’s about to get a contract won’t be like some other Jets who got paid and football became just a job they didn’t like and no longer fun.
No Wilks comes to mind and maybe it’s more a shot across the bow of one JFM .
