The NFL currently plans to release the schedule on Thursday, April 23. Per multiple sources, however, that could be accelerated.

The schedule is ready to be unveiled. And there’s a chance it will be rolled out earlier than next Thursday. Wednesday could become the new target.

Regardless, it’s coming next week, no later than Thursday.

And it will be the biggest story in all of sports, even though no games that count will be played until three days after Labor Day.

... one of my favorite days. I actually watch the ESPN show with pen and paper in hand. Kinda like getting 16 little Christmas gifts (15 this year). It's important because you can't plan anything (vacations, weekends, concerts, last Mets game, etc) between labor day and the end of the year without the dates. Woo Hoo !

I've already planned my vacation for this fall. Flying to Heathrow on October 1 returning October 10.

This year, they are having a week of games of all SB rematches to celebrate the 5oth anniversary like Jets/Colts and the mentioned Pats/Eagles.

I think the league may want to avoid Deflate Gate talk on kick off week with that Pats/Colts matchup.
