We all remember earlier in the year when Schlereth went on ESPN Radio and pretty much bashed Decker saying that he is a product of Peyton. Below is a quote of what he said. With the season almost over and having seen him on the field for the Jets, what is your assessment of Decker?

I thought Decker is great this season. Our offensive system is broken but he has been consistently able to get open a make a few plays here and there. There isn't much to talk about on offense for the Jets this year but to me Decker has been the lone bright spot. Once we get that deep threat, he'll open up plays underneath for Decker and his play will improve even more. Although Harvin is super quick and dynamic, I don't see him as a deep threat.
"It's not that he's a bad player, he's not a bad player, he's just a product of that offense," Schlereth said. "What did he have, like 87-90 catches something like that last year? You'll see him in the 40 range. Forty-50 range."
Decker signed a five-year, $36.25 million deal with the Jets in the off-season. He was widely considered one of, if not the best receiver on the free agent market and has been brought into help what was previously one of the worst receiving groups in the league.
"New York will go crazy watching him be covered one-on-one and incomplete passes, throwing his arms up, begging for flags," Schlereth said. "I'm telling you New York, get ready, begging for flags like, 'I was interfered with. That's the only reason I couldn't catch that ball' every play and then tripping over his own feet. Going for a big play and all of a sudden the turf monster gets him. Bam. Sniper. Down. It will drive you crazy. It will absolutely drive you crazy."
