Jordan Travis starting QB with Tyrod Taylor as his backup should be the game plan
Aaron Rodgers, Allan Lazard need to go, still unsure my feelings about Davonte Adams...
Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, Bam Knight and Isaiah Davis nice quartet in the backfield...
Find a new #1 Tight End in free agency maybe Tommy Tremble, or Brevin Jordan... Ruckert is our hybrid TE/FB... Yeboah, meh...
Offensive Line needs to get younger, no more old guys... LT, OC, RG we have our mainstays... Think Carter Warren can be our LG, because of his pass blocking ability... Meaning this draft have to find our starting RT...
Receivers G. Wilson, M. Corely, X. Gipson are solid trio if we keep Adams brings a stability to this group, opens things up for G.W., still need another weapon, maybe Terrance Marshall (yes I think he would fit our needs)

Defensively DJ Reed needs to get moving on, he is a flag just in warmups... Clark good leader but just does not have the ability... Tag Tony Adams with 2nd round tender, worth every penny... Re-sign Brandin Echols, we have Michael Carter locked up with his new deal... The young kids doubt they have what it takes to be on the roster next year I could be wrong just don't see it... Ashtyn Davis spot player needs to find a new home... I do like both Isaiah Oliver and Jalin Mills as depth... Maybe move Converse to Safety would be better for him to pair with Adams but rather find some young blood in the draft...

CJ Mosley looks like he is on his way out and Jamien Sherwood showed up in place for him, think we are good unless we switch back to a 3-4... Hasaan Redick, Quincy Williams are okay linebackers just because of the beef up front... Jermaine Johnson, Will McDonald are our starters, we have decent rotation at the defensive end position... Defensive tackle is another story outside Quinnen there is no real depth, some rotational players but the depth is not there, this needs to be addressed this off season...

Carlson proved he can take and hold down the reigns for Greg the leg and honestly think we will be fine with him as the kicker moving forward...
Morstead is aged out but stilll capable and affordable this is a toss up...

End of the day our focus in free agency is Defensive Tackle, Depth on the OL, one maybe two receivers, a tight end and depth at linebacker...
Draft should focus on WR, RT, DT, S and CB...

This team is still stacked and can be competitive next year even if players don't meet Woody's Madden player ranking, smh!

First off...............great to hear from you again. This is a great plan. Mine would only be slightly different. I would keep Conklin and dump Yeboah. Conklin earned his keep this season I believe and Yeboah is rarely used for some reason. I'd probably find a way to keep Ashton Davis in the rotation. He just has a nose for the ball. he had two interceptions this season again. Pretty sure Redick will be gone. I like your free agency and draft focus except that my biggest concern is RT. Moses is still pretty good but his age is beginning to show and like you mentioned, the "O" line needs to get younger, no more old guys.

It all reads and sounds great to me, let’s do it! Question is, who’s our GM and HC?

My only suggestion is that Simpson stays at LG with Warren as depth piece. RT, DT, and S would be priorities on draft day.
I'm for keeping them both and let them compete for the starting position. They are both about the same age and size so whichever one performs best starts and the other one is depth.

Simpson was a problem at LG, would let him walk
Warren a pass blocking left tackle should be a dominate LG
we want Travis not to suffer another leg injury, we need to be able to block for him.
we have our now/future superstar left tackle
would even go and say Trade AVT for a bag of peanuts
give Mitchell the shot of a life time at RG
but in the end we NEED a young stud at RT
then our OL is complete for two seasons before we have to pay them
then our Player/Owner will look at their Madden rating and say bye bye

I truly respect your opinion GMF, but I was swayed by someone's posting of both he and AVT's OG rankings. I just double checked those rankings and it appears to be fake news. NMD

Simpson gave up pressures was evident in all of our losses, he is a good run blocker but pass protection he underwhelmed...
Warren is a pure pass blocker who has agility to be a good down field blocker, he has the ability and makes sense to give him that shot, also affordable under his rookie contract...

Hard to argue with this but I was thinking that IF Warren beats Simpson out we would have some depth. In reality though Simpson's PFF grades were heads and tails better than Warrens which is why I'd have them duke it out in training camp. I SUPER AGREE on the RT. While I have your attention .......how about a health update. You have my email still, right ?

couple items.........Jordan Travis......we don't know if he will ever play football and fi there were question marks coming from FSU, the injury only created more. I can't call that a reliable plan

DL - Don't count on JJ in 2025. Yet to see players come back to form from achilles tear.....Carl Lawson anyone? Cousins? Rodgers? I don't know we ever get that kid back to where he was headed. He has youth on his side to recover, but just don't bank on him in 2025

OL - draft RT...enough of inconsistent Moses...he's either hurt or swinging open his gate.
