I have spent the past 2 Sundays trying to watch the jets on the Dofu app which has worked great the past few years, but this year for some reason cuts out after a play or 2. This has made Sundays more miserable than if I actually watched the Jets play. My wife and son are threatening to buy Sunday ticket and I think that will be happening tomorrow.

That said, I apologize now because if I pay $300 for the right to watch the jets this season, that assures that we will only win enough games to blow the #1 pick.

my other choice is to not try and watch the jets at all in which case we will go to the playoffs but I will see none of it.

I blame my wife and son for what I am about to do. I will be buying the ticket.

You're not alone with a Jets/wife jinx. The first time it showed up was when she walked into the room and asked "Who's winning?" At that moment, Lee White (may he ever be cursed) fumbled, Joe Namath recovered the fumble and inured his knee. Since then, every time she came into the room during a Jets game, within one play, something bad happens (fumble, interception, the other team scores). Now, if my wife comes into the room I change the station.

Of course, now that she did it, it says I can’t watch the Jets because they are the local game. Looking on Hulu, I see that the cbs 1pm game is in fact the Jets. And the fox 1pm game is cheatahs/Ravens.

how can that be? They are all afc . Is there no longer a distinction between afc and nfc games. CBS used to be afc and fox, nfc

Nah. I bought beer. Went to Treehouse Charlton Mass. Friday. My wife bought football package today. The good news for Ct . Is that since I blew $300 to watch the Jets, CBS 3 from Ct. now has the Jets game on tomorrow

Sunday ticket? It should give you every out of market game. I have Hulu too so when Jets are on tv local or national, I get them on Hulu. First 2 weeks they were not on local so we got the ticket and since we got it, both games have been local on Hulu. So I haven’t even looked at Sunday ticket yet. lol

I tried it for Cleveland but it was only a radio broadcast. I would gladly pay for Sunday ticket if I could watch from home.

Well, I’m hearing that Directv is losing the ticket and Apple TV will be taking it over. Regardless, they’ll be charging you a lot to watch football. Just like they’re starting to do with MLB, moving games to Amazon Prime. Everyone wants a cut of the money train, and consumers will pay the price. We always do.
