Sound FX: Ryan Fitzpatrick

I wish there were more video's available like that. You really get a sense of what is really going on.

On the Marshall shoe string catch, every one thought, myself included, that it was a horrible throw by Fitz. When you watch it from that angle , Stacy runs right into Fitz , and knocks him to the ground, just as Fitz is delivering the ball.

It's really a funny scene, because as Fitz gets up, Stacy is kind of slinking away. Probably thought Fitz was going to get on him for the hit, as a lot of QB's would. Fitz was just ecstatic, when Stacy realizes Fitz doesn't care, he runs over to join in the party.

Good stuff

I did not get the sense that Geno was a team player from that video. Because he's always by Fitz side, that makes him a team player???? That makes no sense. Geno Smith had two exclusive seasons to demonstrate his leadership skills and he ultimately failed miserably. Not only on the field, but also as a person in general.

Ryan Fitzpatrick and Geno Smith are 100% polar opposites.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is the kind of guy you want to root for.

Geno Smith is the kind of guy you want to root against.

geno smith was who he was because our buffoon coach let him be.

Bowles is a different kind of coach and like most said a team for the most part will take on the personna of their coach.

geno has talent no doubt if bowles/gailey can instill in him how to be mature and stuff I am all for letting geno have a shot if fitz is injured.

Something tells me you won't last long on this jets team if you did or said the things this year as you did when rex was around.

Well, if Geno is the way he is because of Rex, I guess Todd Bowles is no better because Geno got his jaw broken under Todd Bowles? It really is laughable how pathetic you Rex haters are, splitting hairs and attempting to blame everything on a coach that hasn't been the Jets HC for 10 months now.

When does the screwball approach ever end?

And I've got news for you. the vast majority of the defense would gladly go to battle for Rex truth be told. And yes, they would run their mouths about it if they could.

he got his draw broken at the very start it's a different time once the players see they can have a winning coach and start really buying into his philosophy. If gen went a full season under coach bowles none of the stuff that he actually did would have happened.

and we are not rex haters simple fact is he is a loud-mouthed clown who can't back up anything he says.

And you know that how?

Seems like Rex is having trouble with getting Bills players to buy into his scheme.

Fitz is the man and his teammates love him!

I'm fine with his limitations as he's setting a great example of how to lead an entire team for Petty and even Geno to follow.

Kind of reminds me of a good natured Ragnar Lothbrok by his sedate but confident demeanor ( for History channel Vikings fans)

I got an idea this is the last time we'll be singing Ryan Fitzpatrick praises for a while. Everybody with any amount of objective thinking, not you Blinside D'Brick you don't have objective anything , but anyone with any amount of objective thinking knows that the Patsies are going after Chris Ivory. If they have their way, and they will, they will stack the box and stop Chris Ivory.

They want Ryan Fitzpatrick to win this game through the air. They likely want him throwing LONGER passes that he's accustomed to throwing to win this game. Thereby taking him out of his comfort zone.

They're betting that Ryan Fitzpatrick will throw the interception by putting him in that position. After all, he's thrown 8 more picks against the Patsies than any other team in the league. The Patsies have made a living out of beating every team he is playing for by getting him throwing multiple interceptions.

i don't know it kind of helps when the defense knows what plays are going to be run ahead of time........#cheatingworks

The one thing i do wonder is being belli never coached against bowles yet I am wondering what cheat method he will try and employ this week?

I think Fitz, Ivory, Marshall, Decker, the OL and the defense is good enough to get us one of the six playoff spots. I hope they win today as well.

Not with the Jets he didn't. Show me where any Jets player said they were not buying into Rex's scheme?

COMMUNICATIONS They did it against the Steelers in the opener and where he probably doesn't have enough illegal films taping Bowles calls, he'll rely on getting Bowles communications messed up. Bellichick can't win a game without an unfair advantage.

The difference is, Rex had his hands all over building our defense to fit his scheme, but he inherited a 4-3 team in Buffalo and the strength of their defense is their D-line, their four man front to be precise, and those guys are not happy about switching to a 3-4, their production is way down and they are blaming the scheme, and to be honest, not without merit, the 3-4 has largely neutralized their skills. I feel the same way about us, but to Bowles credit, he is played mostly 4-3 when Sheldon came back last week. That really impressed me because he's coaching to his talent.

AGREED. Where Rex is in his first season, he is building that defense the way he wants to see it. That switch has happened many times in the past. The Jets did that very switch in 2006 when Eric Mangini wanted to switch the defense to a 3-4 from 4-3.
