I don't even know what to say at this point!!! In my heart of hearts I knew the Jets would be horrible this year. I figured 4-5 wins this year at most. What I was also hoping for was to see growth. To see about 5-7 other very competitive games and close losses. Thought they were on their way to that with the 19-14 Panthers loss. You know, something to make us feel that next year they could possibly double the win total. At least win 8 games and in the third year seeing them as a playoff team. Not that I'm losing all out faith in them here. I won't do that till the the end of next year if this continues, but I just don't see how any of this is possible anymore. Winning 4-5 games this year seems to be the furthest thing away that they could possibly reach for. ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE I GUESS!!!

The Jets failed Zach!
To add insult to injury, two of their 3 losses were at the hands of two former Jets.
A laboratory for learning this season? We fans accepted it with the hopes and promise of competitive play if not victories.
We got bubkes!

Well you should be losing faith. This is the worst pro organization in the history of sports. Not worth the stress.

I don't even get mad any more. I just laugh. But what we've seen so far has been unthinkable to anyone other than a jet fan

who would ever , ever think that we might be worse without Gase?

Wow!

Wow!

Jets will never be a good organization. Maybe a year or two every other decade, but they will never be a winner. There is no reason to invest another second in this organization. Its a waste of energy.

I'm not quitting on this team, coaching staff and management. Knew it was going to be a tough year. Did I hope it would be better than this, yes I did. But not surprised at all at what I'm seeing.

I'm not quitting on this team either but I must admit that I am surprised. I thought they would be better than this. Put up a better fight than this. I honestly thought they would win the Panthers game but the fact that they lost with some dignity give me some life. Made me think that maybe they actually can win 5 or even more games than that. After the Patriots game I knew it was down hill from there most likely. This Broncos game I knew was a wrap. Next weeks game is a wrap. Hopefully they can beat the Falcons in London but who knows about that now. If this team win 2 games at this point, I'd be surprised. I thought the Jets would be much better than this. DAMN!!!

Naw, can't do that. Not with this regime. I did that with the Bowles, Idzik bullshit and Gase era but can't go there with this regime so fast. I gotta give them the rest of this year and next at least.

This was a week of poor performances by all rookie QB. Ever wonder what the Jags fans are feeling after the golden child throws seven picks in three games? People shouting for Fields to start. Well how well did he play? Even Mac N Cheese came back down to earth in front of their home crowd. Nobody on the outside world expected us to make any noise this year, but we fans are conditioned for this. And until they come out from under the rubble that has fallen we'll be right where we're accustomed to being, and that's looking forward to next years draft. At least we shouldn't be looking at QB's with our top pick. Any beast edge rushers projected to be a top 3 pick for next year. For this team to become a contender we have to become a dominate defense while waiting on a rookie QB and OC to learn how to win.

I second your emotion. Yesterday, in over five decades, I did not get aggravated over their loss. Why? They were not worth any more
of my stress and hopes. I will remain a Jet because no other team will ever get me on their bandwagon.

I have worked in an ER for a few years and have gotten quite numb to some pretty gruesome shit. It has translated to my fandom now as well. I don’t get angry or upset anymore. It just is. I might be turning into a robot.

If we're a representative sample albeit small, the Jets have reached the cliff.

It's too early to judge anything, but I can tell you the CS bit off more than they can chew! Looking at the offensive side of the ball, it looks like hiring LaFleur was a mistake. He is just way too green right now! Dude is lost and is clueless where to get answers. His game plans are pathetic and he hasn't found a way to simplify things for anyone!

The QB is lost and holding the ball, the WR's can't get open, he can't figure out how to use the TE's, and I've seen a smoking hot 2-3 wheel routes run!

They should have hired a proven OC and had LaFleur mentor under him for a season or two, until he was ready to take the reins. This is trial by fire for the entire CS.

We loss Becton and Lawson two valuable pieces on both Offense and Defense. Our Center, RG and RT are pretty much missing in action. With GVR DOA, We have no McCaffrey in our backfield. Our young QB is trying so hard to make something happen that he has a 50-50 chance of a big play, an interception, or a sack. Yes, we have a good chance of a top #2 pick which should translate into a pocketful of trade chips, but our focus should be on supporting our future Superstar QB instead of bashing him.

Our Line has improved since week 1 (they aren't stellar, but they have been at least mediocre). But Zach is holding the ball way too long, the WR's are not getting open and he keeps force feeding to Davis (who outside of week 1, hasn't looked good either)

well it's tough to blame the QB for holding it if the WRs can't get open - he was definitely INT conscious yesterday and wasn't trying to squeeze windows till later. The RG spot has been non-competitive to the point that it getting the QB in serious danger of injury. He has to go.

Zach holding it a bit is to be expected as a rookie adjusting to the speed of NFL defenses and tighter windows - but it's being exploited by little pass protection. I thought they handled the edge rushers pretty well but the interior pressure was drive collapsing.
