Great! What's the time frame of his return?
if Skrynes and Williams can hold down the fort, whatever is required, I hope they add 1 more week. Cro will try to come back early...like when he wouldn't sit when his hip was aggravated in his last stint with us. If we're watching meaningful games late in the season, I want Cro 100%

More like he was expecting safety help up top that never came on that play.Well, now it is time to confront the real issue with a healthy Cro - his declining play. He got burned like I have never seen him get burned in the Cleveland game. He got completely burned by the double move. He hasn't played well since returning from Arizona.
Will this be his last season with the Jets? If he falters the way he did in the Browns game during the regular season, WHO can they replace him with? I'm hoping Marcus Williams can hold his end of the bargain. Also hoping we can get some kind of extended play from Dee Milliner, although that does look hopeless.
it did look to me like some kind of miscommunication.. cro absolutely pulled up expecting help over the top..More like he was expecting safety help up top that never came on that play.

The answer is NO and we got that directly from Coach Bowles.it did look to me like some kind of miscommunication.. cro absolutely pulled up expecting help over the top..
was help suppose to have been there is the real question..
thanks for the information hammer..The answer is NO and we got that directly from Coach Bowles.
He was asked about that on Monday and he didn't even let the reporter finish the question, cut him off cold and said NO, he was not expecting help. Unlike Rex, it seems like Bowles is not covering for guys who make stupid mistakes. Crow just bit on STOP & GO on 3rd & 20 and let the receiver blow right past him, which is inexcusable.
This is why I was totally down with Revis and Skrine during the off season, but I thought Crow was unnecessary, overkill, and that money could have been better spent elsewhere, like maybe on another OT or TE (I really wanted the Jets to target Julius Thomas), but thats besides the point, the point is, Crow's last year with the Jets was AWFUL, he looked shot and was getting burned left and right, just like Sunday, thats why I was in no hurry to bring him back.
That said, he's here and I'm rooting for him, but its the one move we made this off season that I didn't love.
Thank the good Lord above we have Williams and hopefully a healthy Milliner
dude wasn't healthy in college either if i'm remembering correctly..We have never had a healthy Milliner.
thanks for the information hammer..
so coach bowles ain't here to be their pal huh?? LOLz good!!
BTW i thought i remember reading cro's deal is very cap friendly next year.. if he has a sub par year i think he'll get his walking papers..
thanks for the confirmation on cro's contract status..cro is effectively on a 1-year deal. he has not a penny guaranteed to him next year and zero cap hit if we cut bait after this year.
and for the talk that cro was done with the jets 2 years ago, while that may have been true, we should keep in mind, he played well last year...and bowles was his DC. so i'm gonna go with what bowles thought of cro based on his 2014 performance with the cardinals more than what fans think of cro based on 2013 performance with the jets (when he had a bad hip). i should add i was in the boat with those that wanted to move on from cro after 2013, so i'm not disagreeing with the assessment. just saying bowles had more recent data to work with.
