Couldn’t we use a couple of those 2nd rounders to move up to 32 with the Lions and take McBride if he’s still there or even Winfrey
When you talk about point value, #4 = 1800. That goes out the window when you talk about trading for a QB. The Jets will get much more to include two #1's, two or three #2's, etc when trading back to #20.

if we end up picking 20th & 31st no need to come back into the first round as our selections and moves cause a ripple effect that benefits us...
at 32, 33 & 34 even if lets say Trey McBride, Perrion Winfrey & Jahan Dotson came off the board then the Jets get Zion Johnson or Jalen Pitre but the mocks yet to be more realistic until the combine results are in, then updates on any positive or negatives on said prospects...
Problem with tweener prospects teams could take them in the first round and all five those are listed as potential sleeper first round picks...

from what I understood from the conversation that was had that if the Steelers do make a move, Joe Douglas would accept the terms I stated... BUT if another team comes into the mix additional picks will be needed to sweeten the deal...
last year we moved up originally were offering a 3rd and 4th to move up to Vikings 14th but the Steelers and one other team came into frame and Joe Douglas instead of posturing just offered up both 3rds to seal the deal...

I really do like Pitre but I don’t think we have a snow balls chance in hades of getting him with additional 2nd round picks.
I think Pitre could be picked with the 35th selection, just a feeling! I believe the team like Strange more than Zion Johnson... Also believe the Jets like Ruckert, Barry and Ferguson more than McBride but in the end taking the top dog if he is there is an option...
