Apparently - Vikings may be interested in trading him - This would be a great move if we can package williams and a 2nd for him. He would give us a true #1 wr. Major offensive upgrade.
For anyone paying attention our offense stinks - and it is really not Gase's fault.
If you look at film:
- Beachem and Shell have been abysmal.
- Robby is terrible at running routes - he failed on multiple screens and then apparently cant duck man coverage
- We have no #2 WR right now
- Falk missed a lot of open receivers and all his hot reads for the most part (hes a rookie and was never really thought to be playing so...)
Only real blame on Gase in my opinion is prep for execution - but a pro coach can only go so far with talent and Mac ensured our talent at receiver and line was abysmal. If we got Diggs, you get Darnold back, Herndon back, and they make some changes at line - this ship could be righted very quickly in time to play 10 crappy teams and pull out 8 to 10 wins.
