TBH I wouldn't want Megatron with our current QB situation.

He'd help maximize their potential, but they'd help minimize his production . . .

It would have to be for picks. They are a 4-3 team that doesn't have many prospects that fit our schemes. No way Megatron is involved in the trade...and Tate is the WR Idzik should have signed last year to pair with Decker and Kerley...no way they move him. I think a trade to Detroit or Dallas would make sense and you grab their 1 and 3 for him.

I'd prefer to resign him.

They have issues with him working out and knowing the play book. Pass. Detroit as an organization has hated how he has prepped for seasons and games since he got his new deal. I see too much Jay Cutler in him to want him on the roster.

People thought Rivers was bad, Stafford is worse, IMO.

They are moving to a 3-4 defense and just cut McDonald after signing him this year. They have few DL who can play the 3-4 and certainly none of Mo's caliber.

They also play NFC west this year (Seattle, Rams, 9ers, Cards) and AFC West (broncos, Raiders, Chargers, and Chiefs)...they would be a good trade target, IMO.

I think so too...Marshall gone and Cutler back in...Forte and that defense another year older. Sounds like a rebuilding year after next, IMO. It would be nice to steal their 1 and 3...

Jason LaCanfora is based out of Baltimore just like Mo's agent. This past offseason, LaCanfora, Mo, and his agent went to an Orioles game together. It was LaCanfora who "broke" the story of Mo staying away from the offseason work. I'd take anything he says about Mo with a grain of salt. He's carrying out the agent's message just like Manish used to do with Revis(only Mo's reps don't create an acrimonious negotiation like Revis' people).

Nothing wrong with paying the man. I hope we work out a fair contract. The thing is it takes two sides to agree. If he wants too much money then we need options and if we can get a potential top 10 1st round pick I won't cry. The are great QB options in next years draft.

Let's get back to the original idea...Mo for their #1 straight up. Seems to me both teams would benefit. The Raiders D could use the help and the Jets could potentially get their franchise QB or help on the O-line.

The Raiders defense going to be tough this year.( going to be impossible to run it on them) They have very deep Lb corp now with a lot of guys that can cover. The biggest question on defense. is going to be a very young Cb group ( Raiders seem to have a lot of faith in that group). How that group does will say how good a season the Raider have in 2015. Everyone of the Raider cb's outside Dj Hayden 5'11 are over 6 ' .( some well over 6')
It would seem the Raiders will ask there cb to play like the Seattle Cb do. ( cover three, and be very physical at line of scrimmage and use their size to their advantage.

Getting to that trade proposal. Reggie Mckenize doesn't like to give up high draft picks( draft is his baby) . I think the Raiders would give up next year number 1 for Muhammad Wilkerson .( just coming into his prime). Anything more than that I can't see them being interested in trading for Wilkerson.( won't trade multiple picks)

the Raiders expect K Mack to have a monster year in 2015 .You put M Wilkerson rushing next to Mack , and Mack numbers go through the roof.( will see a lot of the tight end and Runnning back forced in trying to block him- big mismatch.

The Raiders are probably an 8-8 team in 2015. ( probably a year away from seriously challenging for Afc West title) They were able to get Wilkerson that could change the timetable, as they very well could be a playoff team in 2015.

The Jets would not be "stealing" anything. They would be giving up a very good young DL who has played at a high level for 3 years and is a good character guy. It would be hard giving up this kind of player who has done it at this level for draft picks...

How bout Ziggy Ansah?

Plays 4-3 DE for the Lions, 6' 5"/270, but he ran in the 4.5's when he came out for the draft.

I think he can by a dynamic 3-4 RUSH OLB

Anyway, other than CJ or Matt Stafford, thats the only player on the Lions roster I would take for Wilkerson.

Shit. If you tell me we're getting back a top 10 pick in the draft for Wilkerson, I do it tomorrow. Better chance than not we need one of those guys...and if we have a top 10 pick for Wilkerson, then you use your 1 and 2 with your top 10 and get into the top 4 you get one pro ready QB. Cook, Hack, Jones, and Goff likely all in the mix for the top of the draft...Hack, Cook, Goff, and Jones my order...
