Well, there's a lot more that Mac can do. The players are simply not motivated enough and that falls on the HC. His assistants suck and so does he at everything related to coaching. Mac can rectify this situation by simply admitting he made a mistake in hiring Todd Bowles. If he gets arrogant because Bowles was his hire and insists on keeping Bowles for another season then I just assume he gets fired also. But right now the team sucks so bad that by the end of the season someone is going to have to answer for this putrid, disgusting display.

Enough already my A$$. Toilet Bowles is NOT the right choice for this team and it is painfully obvious that he never was. If toilet was actually a good HC that was capable of doing his job, the players would not be sleepwalking through games. Bowles would actually be motivating them.

There are no coaches on the staff that get a pass. Gailey, Rodgers???? They all suck. But most of all, toilet is to blame because he hired them.

You started touting statistics as though that somehow proves me wrong? Give me a break. I will give you one statistic and that will trump anything you can say. It is the following:

This team has won one measly game. Meanwhile, this team was expected to compete for the playoffs. Instead, a mere 6 games into the season, the Jets season is over. That is unacceptable. There is nothing you can say to trump that......

again the season if far from over... we failed through a rough patch of season but we have the talent to rebound against the lesser talented part of our schedule...

never was I a fan for Fitz nor was happy when we drafted Geno... wanted Ryan Nassib from Syracuse who is with Big Blue...

as for the head coach I will reiterate he is in tough situations coming off a successful failure of a season last year...

the team came into last year to try to be a win now approach while trying to rebuild for FUTURE success...

the team TB inherited is Rex Ryan's left overs of a team that was 4-12 and was suppose to be 4-6 wins last year... we are still in that rebuild mode and to say Bowles is a failure in year 2 is unfair... Is he failing the team or is the team failing him, a little bit of both...

I am for TB, I like his approach and demeanor compared to Rex Ryan... coaching can be blamed so far the players causing penalties and not communicating with each other is also to blame... no continuity look like a bunch of individuals on the field...

we were up to last Monday the 2nd best run defense in the league... this is thanks to Kacy Rodgers... due to strategic game plan because the lack of speed in the secondary the Jets have been playing a lot of off man coverage opening up us to get beat short, which eliminates pass rush from the d line and linebackers... when we press the corners up at the los of scrimmage the lack of speed and coverage ability from the safety position exposes us on the deep pass... there are ways to solve this but it is an off season change not mid season...

the players Maccagnan signed were given roughly 2 years with majority of guarantees just because they knew it would take at least 3 off seasons to remake this roster... this upcoming off season a lot of roster adjustments can be made without accumulating a big hit in dead loss while trying to make this roster 100% Bowles...

yes I am optimistic but there is that feeling that the team is not playing up to potential which one could say is the head coach and coaching staffs fault... so was Rex Ryan to blame for the failures after year one and two or was it injuries and lack of talent on the roster? all I am saying is TB is in a rough situation with a fan base that desires for a winning team and is begging for one... but to expect him to be the savior to turnover a 4-12 roster overnight is extremely unfair to him...

he was in over his head last season, but was a successful failure... this year consider it a sophomore slump but to change the coaching staff yet again after two years is the wrong move, I could be wrong but I feel he is at least for the short term given the ability to change out the roster to where the talent is equal to what he had to deal with in Arizona we could then be a dominating defense...

we currently have 20 young ones on this roster, by next season expect another 10 to 15 to be added to the roster either draft, free agency and draft free agency...

this team offense, defense needs speed...

the defensive line is stout...
the offensive line is a mystery...
the secondary is a work in progress...
the linebackers addition of speed is partially overhauled...
the receivers have infused of youth, and will continue to develop as a staple...
the running backs are a mystery since we don't use them as we should...
the tight ends/fullbacks/H-backs role is a concern and needs to be solved...

I really do feel even if we have to suffer this year with a losing record that things will turn for the positive next year... I always thought it would take three years (in the third year) where this team would be ready to compete on a consecutive year to year basis...

Oh Yeah, it's got to be me that's the problem here. I mean droves of Jets fans want the idiot fired, but it has to me alone that's causing all of these problems in Jets land. I have been warping everyone and their fragile, little minds.

The fact is, I would say the vast majority of Jets fans either do not like him and have serious criticism for him or they are done with him and want him fired as soon as possible.

He sucks at damn near every facet of being a Head Coach. His in game adjustments are nonexistent, he sucks at time clock management, the players play undisciplined, lackluster football, like they are sleepwalking. He insists on playing Revis on an island when it is obvious that Revis is no longer that player, constant defensive breakdowns that result in big plays for touchdowns, etc. This all the while he's been given whatever he has wanted for the defense. A former defensive guy that got the job because of his great defensive coaching and now the defense is an enormous disappointment.

The offense cannot pass the ball to save their lives. The OL is atrocious, This team is loaded with WR's and yet they consistently drop balls and are unable to cover for the absence of Eric Decker.

We are turning things around ......slow as it may be you will have missed the fun of the turnaround. You will have not enjoyed the whole event. I enjoyed the whole 2011 season of the Boston Bruins & the Saint Louis Cardinals. Every inch of it! The same with the 68 jets. The Sb was great but the season was better.

Sit back & enjoy this season.
