Don’t know how well he’ll continue to look when the hits start coming in pre season or even better, training camp which the QBs don’t even get hit but this is a great sign. This will be excellent competition for Darnold to learn from for a full season or less from Bridgewater and McCown. If Darnold starts game one his rookie year, then we know he’s the truth to beat them both out.

I remember reading something about Bridgewater not having a chance of even making the opening day roster because of that knee.

Ideally, I'd rather see Bridgewater start than McCown and later replaced by Darnold. Perhaps he could be a trade chip to recover the second rounder we lost in next year's draft.

Or maybe we can get more than a 2nd rounder. Teddy gives the Jets a chance to be competitive this year if healthy. Let McCown be a $10M QB coach. I love Darnold, but having two young QB's would be amazing.

If the knee holds up, Teddy Bridgewater is good enough to lead this team into the playoffs. I have no doubt about that. Getting him in FA, and then Darnold falling from heaven is potentially a very nice QB situation for the Jets. We just need to see how the knee holds up in full contact situations.
