Poor guy. I feel sorry for him. I wanted him on the Jets with the Giant RB as our pick. The guy is 5-0 & will go back to the bench soon. Some team should have him for a starter
maybe bit I doubt itOur record would have been the same with him.

It actually worked out for him. He got to learn from Payton and Brees for a year, now is showcasing his ability on a stacked team which will lead to a big contract, Likely as a starter next season.Poor guy. I feel sorry for him. He would have ended up on IR has he stayed here.
even the Giants if Jones is a bustI know him from the local High School. Really a great kid and no one has worked harder to get to where hi is now.
He deserves it....
I'm thinking Tennessee could be a potential spot or I hate to say it but Miami They could have a very competitive team next season with him, and the draft picks plus cap space.
I agree 1,000 percent! I believed if the Jets kept Bridgewater and drafted S. Barkley that they would be a very legit team. Now I was just as fine with drafting Darnold, as long as they build a team (mainly a oline around him and as we can see they have not)Poor guy. I feel sorry for him. You are wrong there! With Bridgewater and Barkley, the Jets would have had two staples to build the team around. You see what Barkley is doing with the Giants oline and there oline are no better then ours. Imagine Bridgewater, Barkley, Herndon, Anderson and Crowder together. That's an offense that is very legit. Our record would have been the same with him.

Not taking anything away from Darnold because I still believe he will be the truth but we would of had more around this team with Bridgewater and Barkley. Bell isn't the type of runner for this team. He is a patient runner who needs the oline to open the holes and be flexible in whatever he does. Barkley just hits the hole and goes, Barkley is gone before anyone even realizes it and he doesn't need much of a oline for that. Just give Barkley a inch of space and he's hitting it hard.
Add Bridgewater in which we all know he was the best QB we had when he was here with the few offensive weapons we have and this would have been a better team. Yes Darnold was right on his ass in that preseason but Bridgewater clearly played better. I'm not saying that I'm unhappy with the Darnold draft pick at all. It's just going to take ALOT more time to build around this kid for success.
None of this matters anyway because the Giants picked second that year and they picked Barkley. We picked third so we wouldn't have gotten Barkley anyway.

me tooI hope I wish him well
I was too, but I wanted the offensive lineman instead of BarkleyI agree 1,000 percent! I believed if the Jets kept Bridgewater and drafted S. Barkley that they would be a very legit team. Maybe with the Titans next season. Be a good spot for himIt actually worked out for him. He got to learn from Payton and Brees for a year, now is showcasing his ability on a stacked team which will lead to a big contract, Likely as a starter next season.

I would expect that the Saints try to hold onto him.
