First of all, I said this was a trap game.

The Bengals are a better team and I don't think anyone here thought otherwise. Our chances of winning lied within our ability to catch them sleeping. With the prospect of Cincinnati going 0-3, I didn't expect this to happen.

What I was disappointed about was that we didn't score any touchdowns and the game was essentially over by halftime.

But there will be better days for this team this season. And hopefully Zach can be back soon.

Pretty easy to anticipate the pass rush, it's coming on every down with our woes at left tackle. The current incumbent was released by the Jets and then passed over by all 31 NFL teams. The rushing game is unspectacular as well, I will leave others to say whether the line is not opening holes or Carter and Hall are both lightweights. By all means bring back the Zach, but those who think QB is the source of all our problems will be disappointed, and I'm expecting him to get injured again to complete our season before Halloween.

Last week they won by the gifts that the Cleveland Browns gave to them. They were fortunate enough to take advantage of them, when in most chances, the Jets haven't been. Gifts like that won't come around often and that may be the only one they get this year. The Jets have to take the games in their hands from the very beginning and dominate or at least play competitive and tuff from snap one until the very end. The Jets haven't dominated since the Bill Parcells and Vinny T. days and haven't played competitive and tuff until the end since the Rex Ryan and Sanchez days. Come on Sahel and Zach, get your shit together please!!!

To be fair, the Jets D did make some stops later in the game after getting abused in the first half. But the end result is the same. Not enough pressure on Burrow lead to easy completions and TD’s. I don’t understand how a HC with the defensive pedigree of Saleh can have a defense underperform like that. We’re playing from behind all day long in the first three games.

The game plan didn't seem to be correct at all. The Bengals front 7 are pretty damn good, but we should have really pushed to establish a running game. 20 rushes for the entire game is pretty pathetic.

Our defense made mistakes but our offense just couldn't seem to figure out how to attack Cincy. I've never been a Mike LaFleur fan as I feel he is too stuck on "his system" and really doesn't know how to coach. He runs his system for better or worse. Damned not having players that fit, damned not having players up to speed! He just throws out his system and if it doesn't work, it's everyone else's fault but his.

With an attacking front 7, you need to run screens, slants, dump offs, and wheel routes to get the ball out quick and get the defense off of their toes and back onto their heels.

I just don't think LaFleur understands that. You need to attack defenses and find their weaknesses. This guy sits in the box and calls plays like this is Madden! If it doesn't work, the players are the problem! If it works, he's a genius!

Find what works best for the talent you have, not the talent you want! That is what a real coach does!!
