If all four OTs are gone, I suspect the team trades back. Deal back, build on the seconds and thirds, and land an OT and a WR that way, while still having the ammo for a good CB and maybe an edge in the top three rounds.

D. Brown is a top ten talent.
He might slide out of the top ten, but he’s a top ten talent.

If the best player available is one of your top needs and he's there picking 11 you take him
Judy or Lamb
A top WR has been a dire need for this team as much as an O line has.

not arguing top ten talent, just noted the consensus top group of prospects right now...

Javon Kinlaw, CJ Henderson are both also noted as top ten talent but there only can be 10...

If OTs are at a premium then trading back just means that the fifth and sixth guys are gone and the Jets are faced with the same question. If a starter is there then I am taking him, rather than waiting to get another Edoga or Shell.

Jones, Ruiz and Cushenberry III are no slouches. With a trade back you are still getting quality. If we stay at 11, Jerudy and Lamb ar in play studs

If Jets trade back, I see a team like the Falcons at 16 as logical partners. They want a WR (Lamb, Jeudy) and need to get before Raiders to get either. At 16 they will have their choice of Jackson, Jones, or Cleveland not to mention Ruiz and Cushenberry. If we can get an additional 2 plus Jackson or Jones, I'd consider it a good deal for Douglas. With two 2's and two 3's we can grab an IOL, CB and two WRs or edge and 1 WR. That helps so much for the rebuild/hole plugging.

Without knowing who is #1 on Douglas’ board, I agree with you. If Joe Actually likes Jackson or Jones as much as the “top four,” your scenario makes good sense. However, if Jones likes the tackle available at #11 better, I hope he takes that player. It all comes down to his board, not what all of the “experts” say, including you and me, LOL. I will say this: the man was an offensive lineman himself, so I have to assume that he particularly knows more about offensive line play than does any GM that we have ever had as well as all of the mock draft gurus.
One other point is that I don’t think that we would get a second round pick for such a slight trade down. I’d be happy to be proven wrong.
