The guy had certainly been brought down a peg, it's post draft and the guy is black balled. He will be signed cheap or go the way of ray rice.

He is absolutely guilty of disgusting behavior.

Is he worth the hassle of possibly assembling the best d line in history? He will be cheap and we have veterans around him on the line. We have Williams in year 2,Richardson approaching his prime and contact earning years, mo is in a contract year, add hardy to the mix, and we could be the best defense in modern times.

I figure he would have been a wonderful solution as a pass rushing OLB. That way they didn't have to draft snall fry. I'd still like to see him play for the Jets with a very low risk highly incentive based one year contract...

This would be way worse than signing Vick. And this is coming from a fan who likes dogs more than humans. Hardy is a piece of garbage.

I don't believe that culture has ever changed. When Herm was around we had good guys off the field. When Mangini was here we had a lot of the same except for that one incident with Miller and Stuckey. Maybe Rex had a few bad boys like Santonio Holmes? Other than him being an asshole that quit on the team he did not do much to get himself in trouble with the Jets. Braylon Edwards got a DUI in 2010. But foir the most part the Jets have never had guys like Hernandez or Hardy...

If you have a strong locker room, what's the risk of bringing in a top defensive end at little money? It doesn't cost anything to cut him if he's causing problems, but I'd imagine mo would put him in his place. Richardson will also be suspended to start the season.

I agree with this but Marshall didn't exactly have a squeaky clean persona and they traded for him and it worked out perfectly! I wouldn't mind signing him on a one year (be good and prove yourself) incentive driven contract. Right now I don't see who our pass rushers are (unless the rookies break out), so it would definitely be beneficial to both parties.

And still they tried to trade up to select Laremy Tunsil, who was taken off a lot of teams draft boards. Richarson is still a valuable payer for the Jets. Seems like the choir boy thingee is flexible when it comes to star players.

If hardy is a major problem in the locker room, pass. If his problems are specific to off field situations, as Richardson's seem to be, I'd take a shot with a one year contract.

All the reports in Dallas said he was late to multiple meetings and had a bad attitude. This guy is the one guy on the planet that would force me to root elsewhere.
