It happened everywhere. Remember when he got hurt and everyone cheered? Sad sad sad

As bad as the Jets have been over the years, I was never embarrassed to be a Jets' fan.............Until that day

I was at one of those games. At that moment I realized how awful many Jet fans really are.

+1

Though I'm not sure it's limited to Jets fans -- the human race in general has gotten pretty good at being crappy . . .

Nah.

Humans have always been crappy. It's just that there's so many more of us now, and growing................................For now.

It's one thing being crappy, and cheering, when a rival is injured, it's a whole other story when it's one of your own. Particularly when that player, when healthy, never had a losing season. Lol

Oh well

I was at that game...

Playing Jacksonville if I remember correctly. Then Fiedler got hurt right after. Then I think Penny was brought back in.

I could be wrong. I remember the guy next to me had left Houston because of hurricane Rita.... Which was right after Katrina so everyone was paranoid. Seems like so long ago...

I don't know if your right or wrong, but if Jets' fans were cheering that Pennington got hurt, so Jay Fiedler could show his stuff, Not only are they mean spirited , they should b e committed.

I just feel having two young gun slingers will make this QB competition that much more enjoyable:

I loved this pick in the 4th round last year. The improvement Petty made last off season between the Senior Bowl, and the 2nd pre-season game against Atlanta was remarkable. Can't wait to see if he has continued to improve over the last year. He has all the physical tools, very strong arm, a very fast quick release, 21 rushing TD's, and has rep as being a hard worker, and a quick study.

My one fear is that with all the Hackamania he won't get the reps to show his stuff. That's one of the reasons I'm not concerned about Fitz not being in the OTA's. Gives both Hack and Petty an opportunity to get more reps.

If he hasn't moved forward, fine, then Hack is the future. I think Petty's going to surprise.

yes this is going to be a fun camp with the young QB's

I won't be stunned if Petty comes in here this year, surprises everyone, and is the best QB in camp
