I have been saying it all off season, heck, going back to last year, if this kid gets on the Jugs and improves his hands, the sky is the limit. The kid is a physical mismatch, the size and strength to overpower DB's, and the speed to blow past linebackers like they are standing still. His one flaw that was holding him back was catching the football. If he gets that fixed, he could be amongst the elite #3 WR's in the league, with a ceiling to takeover for Brandon Marshall when he retires.

Idzik threw away most of his draft picks, but he got this one right.

This time it was six catchable passes and he hauled in all six, and made it look easy. A lot of us knew this kid had a huge upside if he could improve his hands, and so far it looks like he has, 13 for 13, and the results are terrific.

This time it was six catchable passes and he hauled in all six, and made it look easy. A lot of us knew this kid had a huge upside if he could improve his hands, and so far it looks like he has, 13 for 13, and the results are terrific.

You're being kind calling them all "catchable". Fitz wasn't near as accurate as his stats make him out to be. There were a lot of nice adjustments on the ball, and Q definitely had a bunch.

That's not a knock on Fitz - just a "shout out" to the job the WRs did last night . . .

Oh-Tay, let's put down the hyperbole pipe for a minute.
HYATT™ has ALWAYS luved him some Q, but comparing him to Owens or saying he can "take over" for BM when he retires is just flat-out stoopidity talking.
It's POSSIBLE he could become another Anquan Boldin - but if he even ends up as dependable as James (Ledfoot) Jones it'll be a YUGE win for the Jets brain trust.
Dependable-handed #3 flanker WRs are still at a premium in this league & Q has the skills to become a dependable #2 from the slot (which is FAR more likely to be how he ends up spending his career) too.

Yeah, I really can't believe it. He dropped a lot of passes last season. But at least so far this season? 13 passes, 13 catches and he looks spectacular doing it. If he keeps this up, he'll end up having a 1,000 yard season. The only drawback is with so many top notch receivers, Marshall, Decker, and Enunwa, I wonder when guys like Robbie Anderson and Charone Peake will get opportunities. I know it's going to be hard. This team has a logjam of talent at WR right now.

A couple of injuries and that can disappear in a heartbeat.
GREAT way to train up a couple young buck QBs too, because there's enough to go around for 1st string AND the scout team AND the practice squids.
