Looks like Geno is having a good camp so far.

Think it's so important he shows that he is ready to compete. Even when Fitz returns , we must remember he is a long-shot to play 16 games

Geno and the team need to act like he is the starter. I'm not paying Fitz like a top qb. If we go 9-7 with him, or 7-9 with Geno, it doesn't matter to me. Who knows, sitting for a year has helped Geno. He has the arm..

smith's "arm" hasn't been the problem.....

if you believe fitzpatrick can get us to 9-7, that's a playoff spot some years & 10-6 is almost always a playoff spot.. most years anyway..

bowles/mac are trying to make a go at it before the older guys are done.. i'm very OK with that..

Bottom line for me is I don't think we can win a SB with Fitz, unless our D is on par or better than Denver last year. No, Smith isn't the brightest bulb, but I do think Gailey could really help him and if this thing with Fitz is going to keep dragging out....
