Yup. Yesterday's outing against the Sea Hawks was not easy to watch. The Jet defense had become a bright spot in the season and, well, let's just say that yesterday wasn't their day to shine. The jet offense continued to strew the path to the QB with roses for those with bad intentions. Mr. Michael White needed at least another week to recover from cracked ribs. It would have been better if Mr. Joseph Flacco had presided over the debacle. No matter the QB, the Jet offense squad is, for lack of a better term, a true fixer-upper. If the job for the offense is to get the dog walked, the Jets have soiled carpets in the house.
There's work to be done. Miami lies ahead.

What 'work' are you hoping for in Miami? A win lets Belichick into the playoffs and may have a negative effect on our draft position and schedule next season, while further frustrating most of the fanbase. If it's me, I'm leaving nothing to chance and starting Zach Wilson. Perhaps I give Old Joe a series as a retirement present.

I'm certainly not expecting another 40-17 romp. That's growing very small and dim in the rear view mirror. I would like to see it close, though. Blowouts make for poor watching, no matter the teams involved. I think that Mr. Michael White deserves a chance to sharpen his passing game.

We're currently drafting 13th, appropriate as the Jets are certainly unlucky for us. And a number of the teams above us are slated to take Guards and Tackles, which is what we need. An 'L' next week would take us up at least one position and possibly three. If we get the meaningless 'W', think of it as the guys we want slide off the board.

Absolutely true. I just have a personal problem in rooting for a team I've been following to lose a game. It just doesn't feel right to me.

If I remember correctly, the Bret Favre year, we lost to Miami in the last game and that kept the cheatahs out of the playoffs and in my opinion changed history, cause Matt Cassel would have most likely ended up Super Bow mvp had he got into the playoffs and then, who knows what becomes of Brady? At the least we would have seen that any respectable qb could have taken that team to the Super Bowl.
