So I’m listening to the Colin Cowherd show today and he gave his opinion, not prediction but opinion on who he felt would be the best HC for the Jets and he choice Jason Garrett. Now of course I know not to listen or take seriously what any of these guys say when it comes to there opinion but I truly wanted to choke his ass through the damn radio. What a stupid fucking choice that was!!!

Thats the first I read that he was even an option. These talking heads need something to be controversial.

Sounds like it'll get done.
I hope so, but won't believe it until the ink on the contract is dry. I remember Reggie White holding a press conference to say he'd be signing with the Jets, then he hopped on a plane and signed with Green Bay the nest day.(The lying fu**er)

Like I said.........don't count your chickens before they hatch. We don't know what went on in the interview. Maybe the deal was pretty good and he just wants to see what the deal in Philly looks like before he makes a decision. We can always hope that the Eagles deal doesn't appeal like a better deal to him and he'll be back. Hope, hope, hope. Just goes to show that these sports reporters don't really know shit.

Exactly. We do have a much better draft pick situation than the Eagles and quite a bit more cap space so who knows, he might come back. Also their defense is middle of the pack, only a little higher ranked than ours so they need players too.

I'm going to look at this positively. You don't want to jump at the first offer particularly when you have leverage. Apparently he is bright enough to understand that. JD is also a patient guy that seems to be a good negotiator. All of this adds up to the present impasse. I think that this still may get done unless I hear that JD has scheduled a 2nd interview with one of the other candidates.
