Jets signed Brett Maher even tho he is ancient he only entering year two of his rookie deal...

As I recall, Gostkowki struggled at distances over 40 yds the last two seasons and wasn't used much last season. Not sure, but, I think that was the case and coupled with his age, 35 years old, he's probably not a good choice for any team any more.
