I should reiterate that I'm no advocating Cutler. But this forum looks at QBs from other teams as problems but never seems to focus on the problems with the QBs that actually play for us. Here's an example that goes in a different direction...the low completion percentage on short passes gets attributed to the receivers and not Wilson.
no member of the forum exclusively blamed the receivers for them.
Zach owned the worm burner throws...AND SHOULD.
After the Miami game, he said "i just need to rip them"... and he did. Ty, true to form, then dropped 3 in one half.
but there had to be some reason for a guy who completed 73% of his passes in his final year in college to not be able to complete simple hitches and screens; when he feasted on shorties at BYU.
a very plausible answer is a lack of trust in the people he threw to catch it. the drop rate at the pro level for TY (and even MC1) was huge.
that's not to mention Cory, or Moore's issues.
yes, i am a Zach Homer, because i saw a lack of a correlation between what he could do at BYU, and what he struggled with last year.
i just think trust had a major role in the struggles.
