I'll be watching when it comes back, but compared to you guys I am a total novice. Just started watching it this year, My kid turned me on to it.

Taz has a question. Did all the animals die when the people became zombies?

tell taz she'll be safe from "turning" in a walking dead apocalypse.. i remember reading that when the comic was first beginning, the artist doing the book didn't want to be bothered drawing "walker animals.." so the virus only effects humans & i believe bill belichick as well.. i'll try to confirm if belichick can be in fact "turned" with TeachDown.. i'll have to get back to you on that..

No animal zombies on the walking dead. All the animals on the show are not infected. The show and comic has made it known that the zombie virus is only carried by humans.

As for belichick, I'm not sure that even the dead would want to claim him...

That's good Taz was becoming very concerned about some odd activity in the neighborhood

Another question on the show. If 97% of humans are gone, why have certain clicks turned to cannibalism? One would think that the animal population would have exploded. It would seem a lot easier, and tastier, to shoot a cow, and eat it, then a heavily armed human.

i've been a big fan of the show since the first episode of season one.. so if any other NYJF are fans as well, lets talk some walking dead!!

The Walking Dead is my favorite show. I have also read the comic book which inspired the show.

What do you think the most reason (mid)season finale?

OK, so I've also been a fan since the 1 st. Only show on now that I don't miss or demand it,barring a football or hockey game hence demand.
So here is my take on the series so far:

Something very Interesting …. Zombies aren’t the threat after all.

Bye bye Beth. Well we knew it was coming but Beth burgers would have been much more creepy. Ok so here's my gripe. Most if not all main characters get killed off by other non zombies? Rick kills Shane , gov'na kills Hershel , Dawn does Beth , they left the blondy Andrea to be eaten! ok bob got bit but Garth ate him anyway. Carol's daughter Sophia , got bit but we only see her comin out of the barn. Was that ( Dale ) the only one we saw getting eatin up by zombies. Oh yea and Lori get killed by Carl.
Did Merle get torn up / eatin? Yea that's rite
Lizzie killed her sister. Carol killed Lizzie. Carol killed Karen and the other sick person at the jail. Shane killed the fat guy., Otis? The gang killed the termites. Governer killed his followers on the road. Rick killed Joe. And Rick killed the poor Bob cop (he is OVER the edge). .
So what do you guys think of that?
Getting excited for Sunday?

A little pre read for tonite that I found
That funeral......... I have stated numerous times the funeral we see in the previews won't be for who casual viewers would think! Hopefully, I've been right. -Prime
"Sunday night's episode finds them on the road, taking a detour to get newcomer Noah (Tyler James Williams) back to his home in Richmond, Virginia. A little part of everybody is where Hershel was at his lowest point, sitting in front of an open bottle of whiskey.
Titled "What Happened and What's Going On," the episode opens with a montage of scenes. Pay strict attention. It's important.
One of those scenes is of Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) preaching a graveside eulogy, speaking words of faith and hope. Around him are faces of despair.
Think you know what's going on? Think again. And keep watching.
The performances are superb. The payoff is powerful.
Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is leading the group toward an uncertain future. Remember these lines from this episode: "The last long trip we have to make." "Then we keep going." "Got to hold on." "Then what?"
Each takes on incredible resonance by the time the final credits are rolling, not to music, but to an eerily distinctive sound.
Welcome to the dance. Or, as Tyreese (Chad Coleman) says, remembering how he listened to disturbing headlines reported on the radio, it was the "kind of horror I couldn't wrap my head around."
That, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason we've always needed horror stories. They give us the metaphoric means of wrapping our heads around the unthinkable, the unimaginable, the unendurable.
That's why "The Walking Dead" has worked so well on so many levels, and that's why it continues to work. Does it take the occasional storytelling stumble? Of course, but it gets up and it keeps on going. For fans, it's a matter of faith, and of faith generally being rewarded."

Yea, no spoilers ( that I think will spoil it ) I wouldn't do that to you guys. Just a little insight as to what to watch for and pay attention to.
I myself scour the Internet for any thing I could find. Will not let any " info. " I find leak here ,
