......or if the opposition would have injured our starter so Brady got his opportunity rather than a short career as a back-up. Remember, we didn't just provide Belichick, we 'discovered' Brady for them.

Belichick would have done it without brady. I actually hope he stays longer than Brady to prove it. Hate to say that but Belichick is a robot while Brady is just an arrogant bastard.

Brady retires this year because his receivers actually drop balls and because he is actually getting hit sometimes. Belichick picks up Phillip Rivers wins a Superbowl without Brady then retired

It's that thought that helps get me through this. I wouldn't want to feel like defending Belichicks cheating when I don't agree with it just because he was our coach.

To me, it's everything. I have loved the Jets since I can remember. But I would have a tough time justifying this to myself.

And I've seen friends who are Patriots fans, people I respect, completely suspend their morality and their common sense trying to defend the indefensible.

I here you. I guess if he were our coach and we won every Superbowl I would just say, neck yeah the guy cheats but the league still puts out name on the trophy every year so why not cheat? That's why the* should be used.

The guy is a great coach. no denying it and I'm sure if he played by the rules,he would still have some rings. Just not all the rings. Just like Brady is a great quarterback but without Belichick he doesn't have many rings. I would say he doesn't have any rings without Belichick but to avoid complaints I'll say " he doesn't have many" rings without Belichick and scarnechia

In fairness, I still have some misgivings about Williams being our DC. I hate what he did. But it's nowhere near the repeated pattern of the Patriots' constant culture of cheating.

What Peyton and Williams did is far worse.
They deserved criminal charges.
The bounty program was bad enough, offering bonuses from their own pockets for career ending injuries pales to videotaping walk throughs.
