we have been getting beat off the line in coverage, for us to be successful our corners & safety/linebackers would be able to jam at the line against receivers, tight ends and split out running backs just because the back end is secure with coverage ball hawks... I do believe Revis and Gilchrist in the back end would be optimal not only in pass defense but last line of defense in run coverage...

David Harris along with both Pryor & Lee would give a nice umbrella to set the edge against the run while Mo & Leo would bolster the inside while still giving a push the pocket...

This would be the base set, opening the door to switch to either nickel or an odd 3-4 set which is TB's cup of tea... I truly do believe that Buster Skrine even tho he plays hard he doesn't fit this defensive scheme (coverage)... Could he still be a situational player sure, but his paycheck says otherwise, so either try to see if he has any value and trade him or make him a situational player in relief for one of the young guns in Roberts & Burris...

Again trying to figure out anything this team could do to be more effective defensively as a unit...
