Thoughts about the off season thus far

Well I said it before "JD may surprise us" and I can say he definitely has IMO. He's picked up some of the best options available to fill the most of the needs. Obviously there are risks, but that's part of the game and quite honestly every player from 1 - 53 are injury risks.

Give credit where credit is due, Great job!!

So far IMO and this may shock a few people @SackExchange, JD has hit this FA out of the park. All of the moves have a chance to fail, but he rebuilt his crappy OL and grabbed a big time WR and perfect compliment to Garrett. If JD gets fired at the end of the season it won't be because of this off season. It will be because he couldn't overcome his 27-56 record. He has done all he can to correct a depleted roster. Now if he drafts defense with his first pick then my opinion changes immediately and I will start the FIRE JD thread!!

JD has done this all along guys. Just nobody sees it because everyone he brought in got injured and then sucked. They were still the best available players without highly over paying, they just never lived up to what they could or should have been.

Except for Simpson, JD has done a good job. With 2 exceptions. He has this thing for signing players who are either Over the Hill or have come off major injuries. JD is hoping that this is the year he gambled the right way.

Didn't realize that Moses played most of the season with a torn pectoral muscle which he had surgically repaired 6 weeks ago. I'm sure his performance suffered because of that and hope that injury is behind him, but all the more reason we take an OT at 10.

4-6 months recovery makes it close to be ready for start of season. Having all 5 starters healthy in training camp is important. IMO, the Jets have to draft a RT that can start right away.
