Excellent coaching. They made the proper adjustements during 1/2 time. Though as Mainejet stated, it was an over all perfomance that everyone fine tuned themselves to play discipline football.
Wait, MJ, what are you upset about?
i came away very satisfied gailey & fitzpatrick ran a absolute textbook 2 minute offense to take the lead going into halftime & coach bolwes putting together enough adjustments to pitch a shutout in the second half!!
only four penalties worked for me as well..
Yes sir! Bowles seems to truly have the goods. The entire season will tell the true story but do far so good.Granted, this was an ideal opponent for the first game with the new regime. Having said that, I saw some very positive things from the coaching staff:
1. In Bowles' post-game remarks, he kept emphasizing that many areas needed improvement. Parcells did this all the time. Don't let 'em get too full of themselves after a win.
2. Second half adjustments.
3. An absence of things that used to drive me nuts, such as dead ball penalties, wasted time-outs due to too many/too few men on the field, etc.
4. Offensive play calling that was very well balanced.
