The problem is in a passing league you need
1) A QB (1)
2) A pass rush (speed) (1)
3) CB's (2)
4) OL (2)
5) TE (2)
6) Safeties (2)
7) Rec's that can catch (ok here we have a few guys that may be good but don't tell me we can count on 81 as of today. (1)
8) Inside LB's (1) I hope what we have works
In most of the key positions in todays game we need help. Ask why we are not winning....this is it
If you look at this list that is 12 good to great players that we need at key positions. This is assuming Decker is back, Shell is the real deal & Johnson is a center.
Now we can use more players like a punter but these are the positions that win in todays game. we are the weakest at these positions as of 2016. Not good
1) FA
2) Draft
3) Young players on the team that grow
4) Moving players around like Revis ?????
This is it folks.....unless we get very good or very lucky or both we are three years away.
Figure, some players like a young QB could take four years & some players like a vet QB could cost us some of our picks...so we get a vet but lack some choices for the other positions.
Big mac has lots of work to do.. starting two years ago....Imo he needs time but he is behind at this point
