Agree, awesome article with some very good reasons to be excited about the current organization and yet a slight tapping on the brakes to temper our expectations for the short term.

They can't improve to the playoffs. They suck with QB's like Geno and Fitz on the team. They will win more games this season but only because last season was epically bad. Jets fans will inevitably be given more heartache because for every bit of good our defense and running game will do for our team, our QB's will piss it all away.
You're right impossible, can't happen. Might as well move on to talking about drafting the next great QB in the 2016 draft with our league worst record. Geez.
This is an optimistic time of year, way too early to be so pessimistic. At least give Gailey a chance to work with the offense to see what they can do in pre season before going off the deep end.
Well, in another thread, you said that if the Jets' QB put up numbers like what Fitzpatrick put up last year, they would be "WAY better than 7-9."

Sorry to piss in your punch bowl. I just call them like I see them. I am also a Jets fan that has dealt how many straight years of heartache and disappointment? Go figure.
I have been a Jets fan from the beginning so you have not seen or felt anything I have not. I have no punch bowl I just would like to see things play out before I write it in the history books. As was said before you state everything as if it is black and white the world is full of grey. Posting every negative thing you believe as a fact before it happens gets tiring to read.
But Nick, you're not one of those Jets fans who thinks making the AFC title game in consecutive seasons was a miserable failure. You're not one of those Jets fans who thinks that Maccagnan is somehow to blame for the Jets picking Ken O'Brien over Dan Marino, or taking Kyle Brady, or Lam Jones, or Johnny Mitchell. You're not one of those Jets fans who use the collective memory of the misery of the pre-Parcells era to argue complete futility of the franchise.

+1 I became a NY Titan fan at the young age of 16 in 1960 however unlike many I still get optimistic at the start of a new season.. But I agree I like to see how things play out before jumping to conclusions which for some is their only form of exercise..LOL

I read every post I always have tiring or not. I love how you put OPINIONS in CAPS. I think it's funny because if you were posting opinions instead of stating facts that are not facts there would be less friction revolving around your posts. I enjoy reading differing opinions I just don't love people shoving false certainties down my throat.
