Tony Dungy: Jim Irsay says Andrew Luck's injury 'inside his head now'

What do we have here? A top 10 28 year old QB in the NFL and his team are at odds...this is worth tracking. I know some people athink Luck "isn't that good"...He had 31 TDs to 13 INTs, a 97 QBR 64% completion % JUST LAST season which made him top 10 in all those categories except comp %. This is starting to feel like the Brees and Chargers situation. If the Jets can send some (any) picks and make this happen...you do it and never look back.

it is in his head, same thing with Mo Wilk, have to get over worrying about re injuring the injury after the medical side is cleared... it is a problem for most athletes especially when they have been rarely injured across the course of their lives/careers...

I don't know if it's all in his head. After practicing 4 days with a cortisone shot, he experienced severe swelling in the shoulder. Irsay is concerned about the money he will have to pay Luck for the injury if he can't play again.
The injury was mishandled from the start. 2 years ignoring the problem , especially when the guy is supposed to be your FQB makes no sense.

For anyone to say this is very insensitive and rude. A cortisone shot can do more damage than good and can actually weaken tendons. I had a shot and developed permanent nerve damage. Very risky and doctors continue to give them making people more injury prone in the future...of course that's how doctors make more money...
