To give a break down of the top ten prospects to get a better idea of what the Jets and Mike Maccagnan can do this year in improving our roster... Now right now these are the top ten with many more wrinkles to be had in other underclassmen who have yet to announce their intentions... Some prospects have injuries that could deflate their current ranking but in the end after the combine and pro days these are the likely top ten in place then it will be on team need where and who goes when...
1. Myles Garrett, DE/LB TAMU - Capable edge rusher, liability in coverage.
2. Jabrill Pepers, LB/SAF Michigan - Undersized linebacker but versatile playmaker. (SAF, RB, KR, PR)
3. Leonard Fournette, RB LSU - Home run threat but durability long term in question.
4. Malik Hooker, FS Ohio St. - Ball Hawk, but inconsistent tackler.
5. Corey Davis, WR Western Michigan - Playmaker, capable/willing run blocker.
6. Ryan Ramczyk, OT Wisconsin - Athletic tackle but inexperienced resume.
7. Jamal Adams, SS LSU - Explosive run defender with capability of playing coverage.
8. Cam Robinson, OT/OG Alabama - Impressive run blocker but pass protect is a work in progress.
9. Teez Tabor, CB Florida - Good off man cover corner, better zone read defender.
10. Jonathan Allen, DE/DT Alabama - Hybrid defensive lineman, better with hand in the dirt than standing up linebacker.
