I will trade Zach for Lance because that was what we should have done is traded with the 49ers. JD really fucked up that pick.
Yes JD did but the 49ers won’t be low balled for Lance and I don’t blame them. Lance hasn’t proven that he’s not worthy of being the man. He hasn’t really been on the field enough for that. So his stock is still very high. Zach is the exact opposite. I don’t know how the 49ers are going to handle this but sooner or later something will have to give. They can’t keep them both for too long. Not the way Purdy is playing!

The word is Lamar wants a fully guaranteed contract. That would be the dumbest and most Jetsy thing ever to give a guaranteed contract to an injury waiting to happen QB.

Since you are all in, what's reasonable because I bet Lamar wants a guaranteed contract and he is the last QB I would give that to? He turned down $270M contract I heard.
Remember since his MVP year his stats have declined every year and last two years have ended in injury. Don't forget he is 1-3 in the playoffs.
My issue with Lamar besides the injuries is his best year throwing the ball was his MVP year. 3127 yards. Derek Carr's worst year as a rookie was 3270. Lamar is on a great franchise and Carr is not and would be going to a worse franchise possibly. Carr will know how to handle the chaos. Lamar might not. Carr is durable. Lamar is not. Carr would be cheaper in contract and compensation. Lamar just scares the crap out of me. Fun to watch, but would cringe every single running play.

Lamar for two 1st rounders sounds good to me. Even throw in players like Zach sand Mims to sweeten the deal, Lol! That’s low balling the Ravens and they will want more but Joe D isn’t stupid. He won’t let them rail road the Jets either. So this will most likely never happen! As for the price/contract they pay Lamar. Pay the man whatever the going rate is. He’s earned it!
That $270 or whatever is was the Ravens offered him. Most of it wasn’t guaranteed I’m guessing and he wants a D. Watson type contract. So pay the man and hopefully he’ll give us 7-10 years of franchise QB play and winning years on top! Lamar’s stats most likely declined after his MVP year because he has to do everything for that offense.
This Jets team is build WAY BETTER than that. He’ll have weapons galore and hopefully a better line next year. Imagine that guy on this team with all those weapons. Plus the defense they had this year! You gotta figure Joe D isn’t going to give up any of our premier young players on offense or defense. Draft picks he’ll be willing to part with and I’m cool with that!
