You can set your crystal balls aside. It doesn't take more than a look at the up-coming schedule to predict that wins for the Jets will be few in the coming weeks.

That doesn't mean that there won't be lots to watch. This poor old country mouse will be looking at the number of yards Mr. Zachary Wilson gains towards the goal line versus the number of yards run sideways as he scrambles. Another interesting statistic, same player, will be the average time he holds the ball before passing. That figure should continue to decrease, game after game.

Penalties will also bear watching. These can be separated into those earned by the defensive as well as the offensive eleven [Eleven. not twelve, guys!]

This is a team still finding its footing. It's no time to give up on a bunch of guys who are trying to play the game well. Nor on the coaching staff that, to date, has looked mighty good.

Attitude is probably more important in football at all levels than in any other sport. You (Jets F.O.) can subtract some value to both Mims and Moore for their attitudes will seemingly further decrease. We probably should have gotten rid of them.

The schedule is pretty tough from here on out.

That's funny when we remember saying (when the schedule was released) that the toughest part of the schedule would be the first eight games and it would get easier after that. Folks here were hoping that could come out of the first half with 2 or three wins and get better as the year progresses.
The current record raised expectations.

Well, it would seem the Jets get punished for the losses they gave to other teams. And the Seahawks are talked up because they are 5-3, when the Jets are talked down because they're 5-3.

Sports followers have good heads for statistics. They know past performances. If they're punters, they bet their impressions based upon that. The New York Jets have not, shall we say, distinguished themselves in the win column in recent years.

That said, there's been a real sea change in the team in the first half of the season. A loss to, of all teams, the Bills should not tarnish that fact.

I didn’t expect Vikings or Seattle to be good and kinda hoped that Miami would be more jet like. If you factor that in, minus 1 buffalo game, the end of the season looked very easy. Plus, the bears thumped the cheatahs in cheatah land. That shows we can’t look past them either

what are you thinking for wins in these last 9 games Sack? If you were good with 7 wins on the season, are you still good with 7 if it means we end the season 2-8 in our last 10?

I don’t think any of us expect a win this week, or even a close game, but if we lose 49-0 I think we will all be disappointed, especially after the total team meltdown vs. our mortal enemy last week
