Trade Bait Possibilities

Here is a list of players we could possible trade to fill our needs at center and CB that I believe would have the least impact on our team.

1. Leonard Williams - He is a solid player but he has never lived up to his draft pedigree - maybe he has a breakout year, but does anyone really want to pay him next year when we just invested in the new Williams and we are pretty solid at D-line. This is blue chip center trade bait
2. Marcus Maye - Argument could be made for his ball hawk potential and he may further develop - but he maybe injury prone, we already have a start safety in Jamal, and what in gods name was mac thinking drafting back to back safeties anyways - truth be told he should of drafted oline with the maye pick anyways. Better yet if we get a CB for him Daryl can go play FS which is his more natural role.
3. Trenton Cannon/Davis Webb Package deal for a C+/B- Center or CB either will be an upgrade for the Jets.

When maye and Adams were on the field together, it was special. Only the jets know how he's recovered from his injury. They are a great young pair that could be together for 10 years.

Dont disagree - but at the end of the day weigh the tandem at Safety vs o-line - we need special on the line more at this point and the safety market is pretty good.

Williams I can see where your coming from but Q will probably help him to have a great year and beyond. So do we really want to let him go, IF THIS WILL BE THE CASE??? Maye I disagree with totally because we SUCK at the cornerback position and need all the help we can get to make up for that. A healthy Maye can do that for us, so I don't think we want to let him go. Now the Cannon and Webb trade bait is spot on. Don't really need either of them IMO and might as well get something for them while we can. Even if it's a lower tier YOUNG oline men or a sixth round pick. Maybe they can turn either one into something.

You're not trading maye off an injury, for a"special" o line. Wr need all the talent we can muster in our secondary, other than safety, it sucks.
