I'm shocked things went south so quickly. He usually does well when there's talent on defense.

Except when he takes Schwartz' 4th ranked defense and drags it down into the 20s because they gotta play Dad Buddy's defense

And, of course, with the sycophant coaches on defense he brought over from ruining the Jets

Thank you Mac, Bowles, Casserly and Wolf for your 2015 Christmas present to Jet fans

It may have something to do with his stubbornness or his reluctance to adapt and make changes. Teams are aware of Rex and his habits. I hope they win this week so they'll have their chests puffed up when we come to town. The outcome will be different this time.

IDK. I'd much rather see them with their tail between their legs, then their chest pumped out.

Two more former Jet JAGS to add to Rex's Bullies.

We could have had Salas and Powell at WR but Maccagnan and Bowles stupidly thought Marshall and Decker

Good luck with thoae new additions to clown circus, Bozo

I've had this suspicion for a while that part of the reason our defenses under Rex were ranked highly was because we scored so few points on offense, that other teams went into protect/shell mode earlier and more often than they would against other teams, and scored fewer points/had fewer yards than they could/would have had, if we had been able to keep up in scoring. Or were just generally more conservative knowing that 21 points would likely win the game. But I don't know any way to prove this notion right or wrong.

Rex is no head coach but an entertainer. He entertains his team by showboating in front of the cameras and he tries to deceive the fans by using the media to circumvent the real issues that are at that present time. He will never win the big one, because his ego will always get the best of him.

His father's scheme can work, only if he pulls back the reigns on himself. In clutch time his playing calling and his inability to use his players to the best of THEIR ability will continue to fail him. His belief is his system is the BEST defense in forever and no matter what it will succeed even when it fails.

Rex Ryan is literally 2 faced, sometimes this is a good thing but not in the NFL. He needs to learn to SHUT THE FUCK UP. But this will never happen because he believes he is the SHIT & no one can touch him.

Interesting and now that i think about it, i cannot argue with that point. We never really shut down teams when we had to.

You Sack maybe I mised some of your posts but haven't seen you on the board lately just wondering.... Merry Christmas Bro!

Merry Christmas!

It's been crazy. I've posted as I was able, but we are in the middle of a move to CT from MA. Right now, we're out of our Massachusetts house, but we still have a couple weeks before we close on the house in Connecticut, so we're in that weird limbo period with our stuff in storage.

Boobie Dixon: Bills Lack Leadership

With Buffalo's season crumbling before our eyes, the Bills' locker room hasn't been shy about commenting on a campaign that hasn't lived up to Rex Ryan's offseason promises.

Nearing the end of a topsy-turvy season packed with highs and lows -- and overt criticism of Ryan's beloved defensive scheme by his star pass rushers -- players acknowledge that a sense of unity was missing when it mattered most.

"We have to come together more," said running back Boobie Dixon, per Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News. "I feel like we could've done that even more this year. We could've come together more at times when stuff was not going well. That was lacking."

Dixon wasn't taking a shot at Ryan. His call was for the locker room to band together, following the example he saw through four seasons in San Francisco when safety Dashon Goldson and linebacker Patrick Willis quickly called team meetings in the midst of turmoil.

"Bring everybody in the room," Dixon said, "sit everybody down and we hash out our problems together. That didn't happen here. That hasn't happened here yet. We've got to get those guys to start stepping up. We have to figure out who will be the team leaders and who's going to be the main guys. And when stuff's not going right, they have to call it out. We have to be more together. I'm used to that type of stuff happening and it hasn't happened here yet.

"We haven't had those types of meetings where it's just players hashing it out and trying to get on the same page. Once we get to that point, I feel like we can take the next step. We definitely have to get to that point."

Dixon's words were echoed by wideout Sammy Watkins, who said it was time for the Bills to become a "players-driven" operation, while acknowledging that it was "sad" it took the team this long to recognize the faulty dynamic.

"To win, it's got to be from the players in this locker room," Watkins said. "Any team that goes out and wins, it's players-driven. Everybody keeps each other accountable and responsible. I don't think a coach can come in and say, 'Hey, do this.' It starts within the team."

While Ryan's swinging pendulum of emotions occasionally put the Bills in a bad place, Watkins and Dixon are ultimately taking some of the heat off their coach. It's not Rex's job to keep the peace at every turn, something he wasn't able to do with the Jets, anyway.

Ultimately, maybe something comes from an otherwise lost season in Buffalo. There's plenty of talent here, but it's clear that 2016 calls for something this year's Bills dangerously lacked: A leader.

Bills are collapsing. You never hear anything about the Bills, haven't for years until Rez became the coach. I like Rex but he needs to learn that you can't talk before a snap is ever taken. It hypes people too much (fans set expectations too high no opponents want to shut you up).

Congratulations WRECKS on failing again.

This time on your 2015 guarantees that your Bullies would 1) improve on last year's fourth ranked defense and 2) would DEFINITELY make the playoffs

Also for stealing 2.7 million of the Pegula's money and probably another 10 million plus even after they wake up and sh*tcan your stupid ass

I fell sorry for the Bills fans and organization itself. Being that I have nothing against them. Other then the fact their in our division ofcourse. However; I'm so happy this all flopped in Rex's face. The way he helped tear our team to shreds and made them a football circus, punch line and laughing stock. He deserves this shit. I'm just so happy we don't have to deal with his pum pum rah rah bullshit anymore.
