Bowles said he's planning to make personnel changes on defense...

Those changes, he said, could be based on what he saw in practice this week...

TB held competition-style practices, hoping to generate some sparks... It's not like he has a lot of options, but you could see bigger roles for linebackers Bruce Carter and Mike Catapano and corner Darryl Roberts...

With Erin Henderson placed on Non-Football-Injury List he is out, so role for promoted linebacker Julian Stanford and Bruce Carter are likely this weeks starters if David Harris is inactive...

Promoting Victor Ochi, he could see significant time at both outside and inside linebacker... Stanford has played in three games this season but mainly on special teams...

Have to wonder if Lorenzo Mauldin who looks like a situational pass rusher will see more action...

Darron Lee also out, could TB get creative and move safeties into the box as linebackers, would be my guess... Antonio Allen a former spur position at South Carolina, also played corner for us under Rex Ryan is a versatile playmaker and could see a bigger role if he is one of the personnel changes...

Going to be intriguing to see how creative TB and Rodgers can get and how effective it will be on Sunday vs. Baltimore...

All I can say is that it's about time. But it's also useless, because the very second the Jets start defending the opponent correctly, the opponents will make in game adjustments. Then Todd Bowles will stand there on the sideline looking stupid while the opponent dominates the team due to in game adjustments. Bowles is a stiff. He does NOT know how to play chess and in the coaching business that makes him useless.....
