Rex being Rex. I'm far from sold on the kid, but honestly, at $15MM per year, it's pretty low for a guy who they expect to be the starting QB for the foreseeable future.

Not sure why Rex gets the blame for this. Doug Whaley is the one who pushed for this.

$15mm is a lot for a kid that takes a ton of hits, is undersized and has only played 14 games

Contacts are funny... He gets paid $9.5 million this year and next year the Bills have the option to pick up the rest of his contract which would make next years salary $27.5 million... In essence he signed a new 1 year, Show me what you got, contract.
