If we fire Gase it should be at the end of the season. It seems only yesterday that the 'Fire Bowles' campaign was in progress. We aren't going to get a good replacement now and we have no shot at the playoffs, so firing now may give some short term satisfaction but does nothing for the attractiveness of the post or the long term success of the team. Who wants to inherit this talentless squad and have the debacle of the rest of the season on their resume? At the end of the season with top draft picks to start building in your own image it may be a different matter.

Gotta change the management structure first. If you are convinced that JDouglas is the right man to run the organization, then let him do it completely. Having yes men and the Johnson Bros. with a major say in football decisions is insanity. From what I have seen so far, JD looks like a pretty savvy football guy, the current roster notwithstanding. He realized what a turd our roster was when he signed on, thats why the long term of his contract. That is also why he didn't spend frivolously on free agents and traded away Adams for draft assets. Hopefully, he doesn't have a blind spot with Gase. I doubt he does if he is truly a smart football guy.

So I ended up falling asleep on the game, THANK GOD and missed the rest of the fourth quarter. I wasn’t paying that much attention to the game in the first place but I watched the highlights and Sam Darnold was absolutely running for his life the entire game. The highlights showed Darnold getting sacked around 6-7 times, running the ball about 8 more times and getting ragged balled a lot more than that. Two points or questions rather:
1. How is any QB supposed the survive this shit?
2. Can Gase get fired now?
