Update: Crowder has been medically cleared

Is this not a serious thing or what? None one started a thread on this, so is this an apparent minor injury or did we just drop the ball here? Crowder will be a major contributor to the team this season. So if this injury is potentially serious then this is something to worry about.

Being that we don't have a bonafide #1 WR, someone that can and will scare defenses and their coordinators to death, we have to have all hands on deck here. Crowder is essential to this team because Anderson and Enunwa are tier three to tier two guys at best. If Crowder will be out for awhile then they will have to depend on Burnett to step up. I think Burnette will have a decent year but good enough to give what Crowder would. Without Crowder, this WR core has changed and dropped off the map significantly.

crowder isn't a JAG, so if this is a serious/lingering injury, that would suck..

Sad part about it is Crowder is another tier three to tier two at best guy himself. Just like Enunwa and Anderson but we need Crowder just that bad to help this receiving core to being half-way legit.

Needless to say I was relieved when they announced that on NBC. I believe that the connection that he and Sam have will pay real dividends down the stretch especially with the other receivers and backs in the lineup.

Watched some highlights of practice the other day, and Sam is having a great camp. In particular, his chemistry with Crowder is progressing very fast. This could be the “under the radar” FA signing we’ll be talking about mid season. Gase loves designing plays to the slot receiver.

If and its a big IF Crowder can stay healthy then we have lots of weapons for Sam and Crowder is a big one.
