I would. If you are planning on taking a WR with one of the firsts, you would hope that guy develops into someone like Samuel. So you would be getting the best WR on your board and a third rounder.
but now you will also be getting a salary of $25M what ifs. he is going to want massive guarantees but will he show up? I have a problem when a player wants QB money then decides he wants leave the organization that drafted him because he feels under appreciated. did we not already have that same problem a few years ago?

The Dolphins gave up 5 draft picks, including a 1st, for Tyreek Hill. I think it’s a fair deal for Deebo. Deebo elevates the Jets into big boy territory.

1.) your first post was positive towards the deal because of risk/reward of drafting an unknown commodity and using the same capital for a known commodity and an added asset?
2.) this post seems to suggest that if it is for a WR, then your valuation doesn't apply.

Miami sent the 49ers 1st, there own 2nd & 4th this year and 4th & 6th next year = 1139.2
Jets offered 35th, 38th & 69th picks = 1260
so no to throwing the 10th with additional picks because the 10th this year is 1300 base, QB value of 1600 they don't need a QB but could trade it to a QB needy team and accrue additional picks. so for us getting back their 93rd valued at 128 it is a fair deal
However they need to match up value is ok with me. Make the points work for both sides. But Deebo Samuel is a sure thing superstar. London, Williams and Wilson are maybes.

understand @BlindsideD'Brick we know Joe Douglas will do what it takes but he is not going to offer a multitude of frivolous picks so yes he could offer the same package that he did to Chiefs for Deebo then opens the door for one of our top picks to be used to accumulate more in return regardless if it is No. 4 or No. 10 but no way in hell will he over pay by giving the No. 10 plus both seconds and a third for Deebo then have to pay the man a contract 4 years $ 125 M is just straight insanity. if Mike Tannebaum or Mike Maccagnan were still at the helm that is the moves they would do without hesitation.
