He was upset about the loss and the turn things took. Let's relax.

he was upset last night, but he not only removed the Jets from instagram, twitter, etc today in the last hour.
he also has blocked Jets media personnel from the street rats to the loyalists just saying doesn't look good...
It doesn't look good. But if he is that quick to turn on the Jets, then maybe he shouldn't be a captain.
OMG losing an average play at Safety? Devastating! Adams, and L. Williams in 2 years nothing has stood out. Both not getting sacks or INT's putting hard hits on teams, pressuring them. Adams wants to be great? Like Singletary or Steelers Palamalu then Make plays like the great Safeties. It would be great to see Adams running around making plays all over the field. I just havent seen any of that yet hence Average. NFL everyone was a star in College, and all skilled . To stand out in NFL of college all stars is hard and rare. I would love to see Adams be that

He's a big fish in a little pond. Couldn't cover me in coverage and I'm friggin' old. Trade him and the other dog waste Leonard Williams for a corner and a couple of O linemen.
He is so overrated. Trade him now. Our defense in the 3 years with him has not gotten any better. Maye might be better than Adams actually. If we don't trade Adams now we will regret it when we pay him a big contract. His one thing he brought was leadership, but the Jets brought in his replacement in Mosley. Trade him for a 1st or get a LT or CB in return. One scenario would be to trade him to the Cowboys for Byron Jones. The other would be to trade him to the Redskins for Trent Williams. Both of those players I would rather have than Adams.

I'm not saying that's the case at all - it's just a possibility. Maybe he wants to block out all of the noise entirely so he can focus on football. If so, great move. I don't blame him.
He doesn't strike me as the type of guy that bails on his team. He's a natural leader. And let's not get into the overrated stuff - the kid can play. He's tough, aggressive, smart, fast, can hit and is all about football. You need guys like that on your team. He went to management to ask them to upgrade the roster - he helped us recruit players like CJ Mosley. So, let's not bash him. He deserves better too. He gives 110% every game.

The problem is, he's a Jet. And the media are going to latch onto anything, especially when times are bad, to drive a wedge between a good player and the team. It makes for headlines, and it further entrenches their LOLJets argument. Eventually, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'd rather have a guy getting pissed because he cares about winning to a fault than someone that couldn't care less. I'm willing to give him a pass - if we're frustrated, disappointed and angry, I'm sure it's magnified 10 fold for someone like Adams. I'm sure he'll address it with the team - he's a standup kid, brought up the right way. He's gonna be fine.
I'm noticing that your not the only one who feels this way but TCT, you really can get over the top with your analogies and it gets annoying. Now I know that you don't care about that and I'm not trying to start a website war with you but DAMN man, RELAX! Both our safeties are better then average and Adams is an elite one. No he's not a playmaking turnover machine but he's only 23-24 years old. He may grow into that. What he is, is a tackling machine and playmaker in other ways. He's always around the ball and he's a leader for that team. That's something that's hard to come by. Maye when healthy is more of an playing turnover type safety. He's an excellent cover safety as well. Not ever player any GM or coach drafts is going to be all world, no matter what round they draft them in. Our safeties are no where near the issue, our corners are and trading either one away our safeties (especially Adams) would not be a smart move.
