Jets still saving big . His $1 million roster bonus that would have been earned today and his per game bonus which would have totaled $5.5 million more this season. Plus whatever he earns will be subtracted so not double dipping. Mac handed out terrible contracts but he always added an out after 2 years and the offsets.

His play calling is terrible, his ego makes it impossible to deal with players, he refuses to scheme to his players abilities, and he FREAKING KILLED our QB.

The jets will be off the hook for any incentives he earns. The more important thing is they saved the $1 million he would have earned on the 15th as a roster bonus plus his per game bonus for the remaining 11 games. Jets now have the most money to spend in free agency and this class should be the best in years.
