OK so, yes I am a 49 year old man that still play Madden but DAMMIT, LOOK AT WHO I ROOT FOR! I buy the new Madden for my PlayStation 4 ever few years and I strictly play Franchise mode because it's only vice of success when it comes to this DAMN team. I always find myself having a glimmy of hope at the beginning of the year but that's nothing odd. Every Jets fan should do that! What makes it worse for me is when reality hits after the first or second regular season game. Maybe by mid-season or maybe even in pre-season I always think to myself, why can't these fuckers get this shit right? I do it on my franchise mode damn near every year and it's not that hard. LOL!!!

try the game in all madden then alternate the game sliders
reduce user sliders from 50 to 40, then cpu sliders from 50 to 60 then run franchise mode

guarantee you will feel like the Jets do in real life but it is winnable by doing the first thing run the ball but unlike our roster make sure to have the right players for the scheme which this team does not on madden so change the scheme

The game is just ridiculous on All-Madden, LOL! So I had to go back to All-pro and I'm on season 4 now. I lost in the playoffs year one, lost in the Super Bowl to the Cardinals in year two and won the Super Bowl in year three. I'm in year four now with a 13-2 record. It's getting sorta easy so maybe I am ready for All-Madden but I doubt it!!!

predictability is bitch on all madden, so mastering a game plan or plays in bunches before playing opposing teams will help...

changing scheme is plus as well look at the roster if not mistaken our OL outside of Fant are Power Blockers, Bell, Gore, Adams, Perine are power backs... even our receivers are not physical receivers, but deep threats and slot guys... can edit the players but changing the scheme is better...

Becton, Clark, McGovern, Van Roten, Lewis as OL works well gives you best chance to win... Adams & Gore are best early against most defenses... use Bell as backup slot receiver to Crowder, and Adams is best at goal line situations... Gore list as FB with Wesco #2...

all madden is a challenge but winnable... currently 7 - 2 won first three weeks by 6 pts each...

MAN LISTEN, I altered and cheated on my roster bigtime and (I MEAN BIGTIME). The Jets aren't even the Jets anymore. The only players I have that are or were still on the team in my franchise mode from year one is Darnold of course, Mosley, Williamson, Adams, Q. Williams, Fatakusi, Wesco, Crowder, Montgomery, Austin, Maye, Herndon, B. Cashman, Poole, J. Adams, D. Burnett, one or two o-linemen and that is about it. Everyone else is no longer on my team. Including L. Bell etc-etc… You know, all the high priced worthless dudes that are on the real Jets team.

I've pretty much cheated and made J. Adams into my starting RB and built him up into being a beast. He started out around a 67 overall rating, I edited him up to a 72 and built him up to a Star status and rating of 76. I can't keep him healthy and staying on the field no matter what I try and that's frustrating. D. Burnett is one of my key WRs and he isn't even on the real Jets team anymore but he's on mines. He's young and I've built him up to about a 75 rating and he started out around a 65. I've added players that I can't even remember there names and they may not even be in the league anymore but I've built them up in my franchise mode.

REMEMBER I'M IN MY FOURTH SEASON. For example, in year one I picked up this WR off free agency name Stephen Hill (I believe). He was 22 years old and ranked like 65 I believe. I cheated and edited his skill up to being a 74 and built him up to be a Superstar and his rating is now a 84 now in year four. So at this point all the players I mentioned that I started my franchise with, a few of those guys aren't on the team anymore but I still stay competitive and keep winning. If I can do it, why can't the real NY Jets do it, LOL!!!

I know just telling you about my roster and how I play franchise mode... take my time no need to rush enjoy altering the game plan per team I face, to maximize my efforts to win...

yea Josh Adams ability to stay healthy is a concern but he is a rotational player along with Perine they both can do damage in different ways...

like I said I made some trades to remove what I believe our current roster will never do... they are going with locker room leaders rather than fill the team with actual needs... it will catch up to them when real season ending injuries start occurring...

I got you and thanks for sharing. It’s great to know that I’m not the only insane person that plays Madden at my age to help me cope with how sorry my real football team is. I have last year’s version so I don’t have the rookies that was just drafted. So maybe I have madden 19 but I thought it was madden 20. I usually buy them like every other 2 to 3 years. All I play is franchise mode. Every now and then I’ll play against my boys online but I hate doing that because I have to play with the Jets active and current roster and I hate the active and current roster. Lol!

Side note: I built Darnold up to a 85 rating and superstar status. He started out at a 73 or 74. Why can’t the real Jets do this???

Yes sir the Cardinals beat me in my second season. It was all about there defense at that. They caused around 4-5 turnovers and I couldn’t move the ball at all. Their offense wasn’t anything special but solid enough to get the win! It’s all fake but it’s all fun!
